This past Sunday, the 2028 Sophomore ID Camp gave us a real look at some of the top names in Florida's rising sophomore class. With scouts and evaluators on hand, it was a chance for players to prove where they stand heading into the fall — and several made their presence felt.

[player_tooltip player_id='2918355' first='Bobby' last='Yelton'] | F | Gulf Breeze | @BobbyYelton

Yelton is a 2028 prospect you need on your radar. He finished around the rim with consistency, rebounds with strength, and shows good passing instincts from the post. A steady anchor-type piece who impacts multiple areas of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2917625' first='Remy' last='Gosse'] | F | Workman | @Remyg33

Gosse brought energy every time he stepped on the floor. He's a physical guard who can control the rock when needed. He battled on the glass, made hustle plays, and did the dirty work that helps teams win. As his offensive skill set continues to expand, his motor already sets him apart.

[player_tooltip player_id='2928553' first='Elijah' last='Thomas'] | CG | Gateway | @ElijahT_2028

Thomas had one of the stronger all-around performances at camp. He attacked both ends of the floor, scored in multiple ways, and carried himself with confidence. Left the gym with a highlight-worthy showing and looks poised to keep building his name.

[player_tooltip player_id='2525251' first='Yasin' last='Rizvi'] | G | @YasinGotGame

One of the better overall guards in the gym, Rizvi played with toughness and skill. He pushed the pace, got downhill to finish, and showed strong playmaking instincts. A true point guard who competes with heart and continues to add polish to his game.

Max Leroux | G | Hilton Head Christian Academy | @maxleroux09

Leroux made an impact with his instincts and energy. He found ways to stay around the ball — whether cutting, running the floor, or jumping passing lanes — and turned effort into production. Always seemed to be in the right spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2920242' first='Romelo' last='Herrera'] | G | @romeloherrera11

Herrera brought pace and smarts to his game. He was comfortable pushing the ball up the floor, creating tempo, and making solid decisions. A well-rounded showing on both ends.

Kediel Fernandez | G | Aubrey Rogers | @kedielFernandez

Fernandez impressed with his quickness and skill. He has tight handles, a strong first step, and the ability to attack and finish with either hand. Add in vision as a passer, a mid-range touch, and perimeter shooting, and he showed one of the more complete guard skill sets at camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='2522927' first='Gavin' last='Russell'] | G | Ida S. Baker | @GavinRusse93305

Russell is a tough-minded guard who plays under control. He limited mistakes, defended the ball well, and showed the ability to manage the game. A steady competitor who values smart decisions and toughness.

[player_tooltip player_id='2530530' first='Dalton' last='Mattingly'] | CG | @D_Mattingly33

With good size and some nice flashes, Mattingly showed he can make plays on both ends. Still developing consistency, but someone to track heading into the regular season.
