St. Thomas Aquinas successfully defended its state championship on Saturday, earning a 67–51 victory over Evans in the Class 6A title game in Jacksonville. The Raiders once again showcased the balance, toughness, and execution that have made them one of the state's premier programs. Here is a look at some of the standout performers from the Class 6A Final Four in Jacksonville.    One of the state's leading scorers, Westbrook once again led the way for the Raiders during their championship run. The guard averaged nearly 20 points per game over the two-day stretch, consistently providing offensive production when his team needed it most. Westbrook is a three-level scorer who combines above-average quickness with a very high basketball IQ, allowing him to create opportunities both for himself and within the flow of the offense. With his scoring ability and feel for the game, expect his recruitment to gain momentum this offseason.     One of Westbrook's backcourt mates, Sandi turned in two of his better performances of the season, averaging 13 points per game in victories over Evans and Sickles. The guard is capable of playing both on and off the ball, showing good feel for the game and making sound decisions as a secondary ball handler. Sandi is a reliable perimeter shooter who can stretch the floor and knock down shots from distance. He also competes on the defensive end, bringing energy and a willingness to guard his matchup.     Hardy is quickly emerging as a prospect to watch closely in the 2028 class. He finished with 17 points in the championship game against the Raiders, showcasing his ability to produce on the big stage. The strong, quick guard has the versatility to play either backcourt position and consistently looks to attack offensively. Hardy can create his own shot, plays with confidence, and has the physical tools to continue developing as a scoring threat. With his combination of strength, quickness, and offensive instincts, he is a young prospect whose stock should continue to rise.     The unsigned senior was excellent in the Trojans' semifinal victory, consistently putting pressure on the defense with his ability to attack the paint. He is difficult for defenders to keep in front of and showed the ability to finish creatively around length and size at the rim. In addition to his downhill scoring ability, he is a capable perimeter shooter who can knock down open shots from beyond the arc. College programs looking for a tough, confident playmaker who can create offense should take a close look.     One of the state's top guards in the 2028 class, Maurice did not disappoint in Jacksonville. The sophomore is a dynamic scoring guard who excels at creating offense off the dribble and putting pressure on opposing defenses. He plays with a strong feel for the game, showing the ability to read situations and make the right play. Maurice is also a capable shot maker from the perimeter and competes with confidence, making him a backcourt prospect with significant upside moving forward.     The leading scorer for Sickles was a bright spot for the Gryphons in a tough loss to St. Thomas Aquinas. Byam showed good quickness and strong command of the basketball, consistently creating opportunities for himself on the offensive end. He demonstrated the ability to handle pressure, make plays with the ball in his hands, and keep his team competitive throughout stretches of the game. With his skill set and feel for the game, Byam proved he has the tools to compete at the collegiate level.     The junior finished with 11 points in Lake Howell's semifinal loss and showed flashes of the skill set that makes him an intriguing backcourt prospect. Dzenutis possesses good quickness and is a capable perimeter shooter who can stretch the floor from beyond the arc. He also demonstrated the ability to handle secondary ball-handling responsibilities, helping initiate offense and make plays for his team. With his combination of shooting ability and guard skills, Dzenutis provides versatility in the backcourt and projects as a player to continue monitoring.     A late-blooming prospect whose best basketball is still ahead of him, Dixon is a long, lean, and mobile frontcourt player with considerable upside. The unsigned senior continues to develop offensively, but he has already shown touch around the basket and the ability to finish in the paint. Where he currently makes his biggest impact is on the defensive end, using his length and mobility to rebound effectively and protect the rim as a shot blocker. As his offensive game continues to progress, expect college coaches to take a closer look at this intriguing frontcourt prospect.
