Mitchell is a strong, powerful and physical guard/wing athlete who is best as a transition slasher and scorer. His offense is often predicated by his defense as his instincts allow him to anticipate in passing lanes then attack the rim in transition. Mitchell's combination of quick lateral speed and physicality make him a lockdown type on-ball defender on the perimeter. In half-court offense, the rising sophomore uses an explosive first step to blow-by his defender and put pressure on the rim.

There aren't many point guards in the region who possess the speed and quick-twitch athleticism that Lewis brings to the floor. The 5-foot-11 rising sophomore is a blurring attacker in transition whose speed with the ball allows him to push tempo, get defenses retreating and punch gaps for finishes at the rim. Lewis is also a shifty creator off the bounce whose changes of speed and direction make him a guy who is difficult for defenders to keep in front. His ability to knock down three-point and mid-range jumpers off the bounce adds another layer of offensive impact.

Patton has an argument as the best pure athlete in the 2028 class and would likely be among the top five athletes in SoCal regardless of class. The Corona Centennial product is a pogo-stick vertical athlete off of one or two feet and he uses that ability to elevate to nullify rim protectors and finish at the rim. Patton is best in transition and open court settings where he can initiate offense on the break or fill lanes and slash his way to the rim for high percentage finishes. His athletic ability and physical tools should show up in a big way on the defensive end this season.

No. 14 [player_tooltip player_id='2948281' first='Oumar' last='Dabo'] | San Gabriel Academy

Dabo is among the many big men that San Gabriel Academy has on its roster and the sophomore already has plenty of skill in his arsenal to go along with long-term potential at the five spot, which earned him the top spot among traditional bigs in the class. At 6-feet-8, Dabo is a very mobile rim-runner with soft hands, great body control and a good fundamental base of footwork that allows him to maneuver and navigate the painted area on low block touches. Dabo has flashed some good defensive instincts as a rim protector and those should only get better as he continues to develop.

No. 15 [player_tooltip player_id='2750218' first='Ethan' last='Hill'] | Brentwood

Hill will be an interesting prospect to monitor over the next three seasons as he possesses some of the best low post and back to the basket feel in area - regardless of class - but ahs some question marks about being "undersized" for his position. All that aside, Hill is the most polished paint scorer in SoCal's 2028 class with his understanding of how to use his big frame to get smaller defenders out of position and his elite footwork, shot fakes and touch with both hands to put bigger defenders in the popcorn machine and finish around the basket. Hill's skill-set on the offensive end is as pure as it comes for a forward/center.
