[player_tooltip player_id='2916849' first='Mekhi' last='Abner'] of Osseo/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. Abner was with the Osseo junior varsity a season ago and he's been playing with the Panthers in the spring/summer. A very active fleet of foot worker (excellent footwork) in the paint and around the basket, Abner could be a factor on varsity this winter. Fourteen year old contesting bodies really haven't been able to do much with his attempts all season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2848538' first='Justus' last='Dayee'] of Simley/Uncheckable Elite. Justus averaged double figures for Simley last year as an 8th grader on varsity. The 6'5/6'6 agile and athletic wing is pretty much too quick for anybody with size to defend at his age level and he has the size to finish over the top of size in the paint. Top big school 8th grade producer at varsity last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2486564' first='Kolden' last='Johnson'] of Anoka/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Johnson found his way on the varsity floor a bit more here and there as the season went on last year for a state team. He was a top ten player rotation wise on a senior dominated team. Johnson has the combination of strength, good feet, and size at 6'6 to produce regularly on varsity this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916881' first='Mal' last='Jok'] of Mankato West/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. The 6'4/6'5 wing is long, skilled, agile, and full of potential. Mal played some varsity for West last season and he will have a big role this winter as the Scarlets will look to replace a lot of scoring. Mal has had experience playing up in several events this year against older competition and there's been little to no slow down in production.

[player_tooltip player_id='2821845' first='Malik' last='Martin'] of Minneapolis Camden/Minneapolis Hustlers. Physically just ahead of most players right now but also has the skills to go with it and while physically ahead.... Martin still has a lot of room to physically grow. It's very early to talk potential for many years down the road but at the same time, there is a lot to Martin when it comes to where his size-skill-agility combination is now, and where it could grow to.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916865' first='King' last='Smith'] of Hopkins/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Hopkins always seems to have guards that are both in the star role, and the up and coming future star role. Smith is the second one but the way he plays, the maturation in terms of game understanding seems to be more of a veteran. Pretty looking shot and a great decision maker.
