One of the most athletic players in Ohio's 2028 class, Poellnitz III has taken a considerable leap and started dunking on players in June when he got downhill with a head of steam. Incredibly talented as a slasher, Poellnitz III is a walking paint touch off the dribble with the ability to get downhill and score the basketball. I think this winter will be a breakout season for Poellnitz III as he gets to play with Miami (OH) commit [player_tooltip player_id='1705954' first='Alan' last='Horton'], one of the top bigs in the state. That pairing will be tough to stop even for the talented teams in the Detroit Catholic League that is loaded with Division I talent. Hoping to see Poellnitz III continue to improve the quickness of his 3-point release, he started making strides with knocking down jumpers on a more consistent basis this summer. It won't be long before regional Division I programs are actively recruiting Poellnitz III.

One of the top players on the Midwest Basketball Club 15 U team, Norris had an excellent weekend in Rock Hill where he led his team to the 3SSB Palmetto Road championship. Norris is the fourth in the line of brothers who have all gone on to play Division I basketball. The lefty is already an elite 3-point shooter and plays with the toughness and elite basketball IQ you'd expect from a Norris brother. A guard who impacts winning on both ends, makes shots and isn't selfish, Norris is going to make a college coach happy in a few years when his time comes.

A teammate of Norris with Midwest Basketball Club, [player_tooltip player_id='2677128' first='Austin' last='Trenz'] stood out during both June with Moeller and July with Midwest Basketball Club. A skilled forward out of the post, Trenz has soft hands, a strong frame and the touch around the basket to score at the rim. Moeller has their youngest team in a long time coming into next season and Trenz has an opportunity to establish himself as a key piece for years to come.
