Schelsky checks a lot of boxes from the point guard position and does things that don't appear in the stat sheet. I love the fact Schelsky plays on balance and gets to his spots before pulling up and finding teammates with live dribble passes. With a compact frame, Schelsky is hard to bump off his driving lane and has the strength to handle physicality on both ends of the court. Tough, strong, makes perimeter shots, high IQ and a solid playmaker, Schelsky is one of the most well rounded point guards in Indiana based on what I saw on Thursday.

In the most thrilling game of the weekend, Kimbrough came in clutch with a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left to send the game into overtime and then after [program_tooltip program_id='2075630' first='Martin' last='Brothers'] won the tip, they held the ball for the entire overtime period before Kimbrough called game with a mid-range pull-up jumper. The most clutch sequence of plays I saw all weekend, shoutout to Kimbrough for willing his team to victory late.

Leonardo shot the ball at an extremely high level on Saturday with some NBA range 3-pointers. After knocking down three straight 3-pointers to open the game, Leonardo pulled a heat check shot from 25+ feet that went in nothing but net. Almost always those heat check type shots don't go in but Leonardo is that level of shooter where he knocked it down. Leonardo also showed the ability to attack closeouts and curl off cuts.

A couple Andrews Osborne players have impressed me this summer and Obieke continues the list of players that are standing out for the northeast Ohio prep school during the July grassroots season. Obieke is a quick guard who can blow by the defense with one crossover move and score in the paint. Obieke also made multiple 3-pointers off the dribble, showing his ability to flat out score the basketball in different ways. Talented lead guard who could have a breakout post grad year with Andrews Orborne Academy.

One of the best shooters in Kentucky, Gilbert provides a lot of value as an off-ball scorer, running off screens, spotting up and cutting to find ways to score. Gilbert can fill it up from the guard position without needing to dribble the ball a ton to create space to shoot. Usually those types of scorers translate well to the college level where the game is simplified and usually one player isn't dominating the ball. I liked watching the Stars 17 U group this weekend as they have a nice blend of skill, size and shooting on their roster.
