Their presence and experience should take some of the heat off Vinson and Stevens. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Arnold will bring a ton of playmaking to the Patriots as well as gritty defense with his addition. He posted 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game for Lake Norman in 2024-25 before their season was cut short due to things out of his control. He'll look to end things on a high note with Davidson Day as well as draw more attention to his skillset. He's a prospect for DI and DII programs to get eyes on given his ability to do it all at the guard spot with his size and frame.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>VanBeurden joins the Patriots from St. Stephens High in Hickory, where he led the team in scoring with 22.6 points per game. He also put up 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He'll add another dynamic scoring threat from the perimeter. He knocked down 85 3-pointers on a 42-percent clip as a junior in 2024-25.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Whitfield is another dynamic scoring presence joining the Davidson Day rotation. He's already got NCISAA experience under his belt after spending last season at Victory Christian Center. He led the team in scoring (20.3 ppg) ad assists (3.7 apg), which turned into a 22-10 record and a deep run in the NCISAA State Playoffs. Ultimately, he won an NCISAA 1A State Championship. Now, he'll look to do more in winning one on the 3A stage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They'll certainly have more firepower on the offensive end with three seniors coming in, but Hall is the wild card. Hall is a big name already in PrepHoops' 2028 rankings, but he certainly ups the ante in joining a top program on the NCISAA stage in Davidson Day. He'll give their frontcourt quite the dynamic to work with given his ability to take over the painted area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He put up 16.3 points, 13.5 rebounds and 6.5 blocks per game in his varsity debut with Lakewood High in 2024-25. He's got an opportunity to create quite the dynamic in the paint for Davidson Day on both ends of the floor heading into his sophomore season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Davidson Day should certainly be a force to be reckoned with on the NCISAA stage, but their recent additions should get them a lot more national attention from a recruiting standpoint, anyways.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
