Over the weekend I had a chance to catch the Under Armor Association while in Chicago. The [program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'] and Elevate were the Illinois squads that competed on the against some of the top teams in the nation. Here is a report of the wing prospects who made an impact this weekend.

Elevate

[player_tooltip player_id='2839970' first='Jordan' last='Williams'] Fremd 2026

At times Williams was the best prospect on the court for Elevate. He was at his best driving left to the basket and scoring creating contact by jumping into the defender's chest and finishing with a foul and bucket. He hit threes when he was open and lived in the mid-range with his jumper. On defense he played the passing lanes well and has an incredible wingspan for help on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2540157' first='Vito' last='Rocca'] Evanston 2027

An unsung forward at times Vito is the more physical forward on the 16U squad. He was often the first to loose balls and not afraid to mix it up on the boards. Rocca has a good touch from 16 feet and out to the arc. He will be a vital piece to another Evanston run this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125608' first='Dawson' last='Charles'] St. Viator 2027

Undersized forward who played with a motor and athleticism around the basket. Showed the ability to hit shots from the three-point line. Charles finished many plays off fastbreaks. He runs the lanes well and plays off two feet.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves']

[player_tooltip player_id='1845354' first='Oliver' last='Gray'] Barrington 2026

Oliver may have helped himself the most this weekend. A 6'6” wing who shot the ball very well in multiple games. In addition to his shooting Gray drove to the basket a few times and scored around taller defenders. With his performance he added a few more scholarship offers.

Atticus Richmond Stevenson 2026

A recent Columbia commit Richmond provided some physical stability around the basket. On the perimeter he shot the ball well and was able to attack slower big men off the dribble for layups. In the final game on Saturday, he led the team in scoring with 13 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125659' first='Kristopher' last='Mporokoso'] Waubonsie Valley 2027

Kris provided needed perimeter shooting for the 16U team. At 6'5 he stretched the defense by making shots from the corner. On defense he was able to switch to multiple defenders and hold his ground.
