<p>Tony Ball at Mankato East. Ball has been an assistant for the Cougars for several years and he takes over for Joe Madson who stepped down after the state tournament. Ball is an administrator at Mankato East and comes from a family of coaches including the great Dan Ball from Austin.</p>

<p>Dustin Hayes at Hill-Murray. Hayes comes back to the school that he graduated from after spending time at White Bear Lake as an assistant and spending time as the head coach at St. Croix Central in Wisconsin. </p>

<p>Marcus Leloux of Byron. After 28 years coaching in the program Kyle Finney stepped down as head coach after a state tournament appearance. Enter Leloux who has been an assistant with the program for three years and is also a teacher in the district. Leloux has previously coached girls at Rochester Century (head coach) and Rochester JM plus he coached in South Dakota and at one point helped a team to a state title. </p>

<p>Michael Poncelet of New Ulm. Poncelet was a teacher in St. Paul this year but he will be moving to New Ulm to take over this position. Poncelet is a well traveled veteran who has coached at Centennial, Mounds View, Macalester, Bemidji and Staples-Motley with Staples-Motley being a place Michael was a five year head coach. </p>

<p>Joe Seymour of Cloquet. Seymour takes over the Cloquet program after spending the past few years as an assistant at Proctor. Seymour was a really good high school player in Wisconsin, and he lives in Esko. </p>

<p>Noah Streed at Willmar. Noah Streed was a Willmar player that graduated in 2017 and eight years later it looks like he has been named the head coach! </p>

<p>Jake Sullivan at St Paul Como Park. The former Tartan standout that led his team to a state title and then went to Iowa State to be a four year double figure scorer at 42% plus from behind the arc is taking over at St. Paul Como Park! Sullivan spent many years training and coaching players at one of the best AAU programs in Iowa and he's been coaching youth spring/summer basketball in the Twin Cities for years. </p>

<p>Tom Terhaar of Chisago Lakes. After going 64-22 at Spectrum over three years as head coach, Tom takes over the Chisago Lakes program. Tom has also spent many years coaching with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] program so he's a recognizable leader that has been in gyms year round for years. </p>

<p>Chance Veasey of Delano. Chance will be the fourth Delano head coach in two years. He has been heavily involved as a leader in the [program_tooltip program_id='2075719' first='MPLS' last='Lakers'] youth basketball program for ten years and he spent time coaching at Minneapolis Southwest on the girls side. </p>

<p>Rob Johnson at North Branch. Rob was named the head coach of North Branch just yesterday. Johnson is a North Branch alum who has been coaching in the North Branch youth program for many years and now he takes over the head coaching job. <br></p>
