Chicagoland Summer Showcase: Out of State Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops Illinois was in Rockford, IL over the weekend taking in games from the all inclusive Chicagoland Summer Showcase. College coaches from NCAA Divisions 1, 2, and 3 were in attendance for the 2nd live period. I had the opportunity to take in games and see some unfamiliar new faces from other states surrounding Illinois. Had some agility shot faking making defender rise then finishing in traffic. Made another dribble drive action from the wing to convert again. The lefty guard can be utilized in the 1 - 3 spots. Comes with size. He is on the wings list but depending what level he goes to you could deem him a 1 as well. Obviously multi-positional. Springy and nimble around the glass. Made a couple tough O board clean ups and put backs that were impressive. Defensively presents a challenge with wing span. Uses hands and feet effectively. Is comfortable handling it as well. Can stretch the defense out with size and shooting ability. Spotted up for 3 in the secondary break option a couple times. Presents a challenge defensively on smaller guards. Had multiple break-a-way lay ins during afternoon game Saturday. Presents a mismatch on both ends because of size and mobility. Outlets quick off D boards. Scored it from beyond the arc a couple times and hit a long 12 foot midrange in 1^st game of the day on Sunday. Good use of length with size for position.
