Admittedly, the Adidas Invitational isn't the event that it used to be. At one point this was a go-to tournament for teams all across the country. However, with shoe circuits taking off and the landscape changing, it is now a much smaller list of teams and exclusively local. That didn't keep us at Prep Hoops Indiana from getting boots on the ground for a couple of games on Saturday afternoon. Let's highlight some of the top performers that we saw during our quick stop in the gym.

Still grinding on the AAU Circuit, this Class of 2025 prospect played as well as we have seen him play on Saturday afternoon. The super physical 6'4" forward showed some improved athleticism with a couple of two-handed dunks and rebounds outside of his area. Clark routinely finished on the low block and was a dominant force on the glass. His combination of size, strength, and athleticism is intriguing for small college programs at the next level.

Daily had his scoring ability, and especially his three-point shooting ability, on full display in Saturday afternoon's win for [program_tooltip program_id='2076224' first='DistinXion' last=''] Black 17u. The strong, sturdy, 6'2" guard connected on four three-point shots on his way to a team-leading 25 points in the victory. Not only can the Linton High School product really shoot the basketball, but his strength allows him to make plays off of two feet when he drives it to the rack.

If you are a college coach you absolutely should do your due diligence on all 6'9"-6'10" centers in the state of Indiana. My recommendation is that you definitely take a look at this big man from Greensburg High School. He is still a bit raw offensively, but he does a fantastic job of going to get all rebounds with two hands and he plays with his hands up consistently on the defensive end in order to deter and alter shot attempts. Hellmich will be a great addition to some small college roster.

This left-handed lead guard has really impressed us over the course of the last few weeks. First he stood out for New Albany High School at the Charlie Hughes Showcase and then he went off for 25 points in a win for Indiana Elite - Wetzel 16u at the Adidas Invitational on Saturday. He is so quick and shifty with the ball in his hands, makes tough shots off of the dribble, and creates well for his teammates. McKee has really emerged as an under-the-radar Class of 2027 prospect of late.

Just like his twin brother, Reece first stood out to us a couple of weekends ago at the annual Charlie Hughes Showcase. He is a tenacious defender that can cover multiple positions, rebounds the ball well from the perimeter, and has a scoring punch that can come at you in a hurry. That is what really stood out on Saturday as he scored 17 points for Indiana Elite - Wetzel 16u in a dominant victory. Definitely an under-the-radar guard to watch out of New Albany High School in the Class of 2027.

There are few sharpshooters in the Class of 2026 that can match what Miller has done this spring and summer between his play with [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 17u and New Castle High School. The 6'0" guard has DEEP range that extends well out beyond the three-point arc and a very quick release that allows him to get his shot off in tight windows. If you are looking for a shot-making guard you should look no further than this guard from one of Indiana's classic high school basketball programs.

This talented guard from Mt. Vernon (Posey) High School has been on our radar for quite some time here at Prep Hoops Indiana. He is a gifted scorer with an impressive pop of athleticism vertically that allows him to get off his smooth jump shot and finish against size at the end of his drives. Meyer passed the ball well on Saturday afternoon as well. He finished with 21 points in a win for his [program_tooltip program_id='2076224' first='DistinXion' last=''] Black 17u squad.

This dynamic 5'9" point guard from Kipp Indy Legacy really took over the game for [program_tooltip program_id='2075559' first='Indy' last='EBC'] 17u. He was making tough plays off of the bounce showcasing great court vision and was very willing as a passer. Then, when it came to scoring, he hit a couple of pull-up three-point shots and had multiple finishes at the end of his drives with both ends. He went on to lead [program_tooltip program_id='2075559' first='Indy' last='EBC'] in scoring with 25 points in a hard fought loss to DixtinXion Black 17u.

The definition of an undersized post guy, Sullivan makes up for what he may lack in traditional height with excellent strength, athletic ability, and a non-stop motor. Sullivan was a consistent problem on the glass getting several offensive rebound putbacks because he was simply playing harder than everyone else. He also stepped out to make a catch-and-shoot three-point shot at the top of the key which was good to see. Sullivan scored 13 points in the game and likely had a double-double with 10 or more rebounds.
