If you are a college coach you absolutely should do your due diligence on all 6’9″-6’10” centers in the state of Indiana. My recommendation is that you definitely take a look at this big man from Greensburg High School. He is still a bit raw offensively, but he does a fantastic job of going to get all rebounds with two hands and he plays with his hands up consistently on the defensive end in order to deter and alter shot attempts. Hellmich will be a great addition to some small college roster.

This list of under-the-radar big men wouldn’t be complete without mentioning arguably the biggest one on the board. Hellmich caught our attention during the spring with Indiana Elite Team Tradition . He finished a few big two hand dunks, blocked some shots defensively, and moved around pretty well for a 6’9″-6’10” center. Look for him to potentially have a breakout senior year at Greensburg High School.
