There were some good showings from rising seniors, juniors and sophomores.

Here were some more of the Opening Night Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1875720' first='Sergio' last='Gonzales'] Deer Valley (AZ Storm) (PIctured)

A scoring lead guard can fill it up from all levels. He had 24 points on opening night versus Jalen Green Elite top team. He shoots it with mid-range pull-ups off the dribble, deep threes from beyond NBA range, fall aways from the elbow, earns trips to the free throw line and scores it in transition. He can crossover his defender and side step and then rise up from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280210' first='Joshua' last='Stewart'] Mesa (Hoop Code 16)

A combo guard will score with threes, mid-range pull-ups off the dribble with a quicker trigger. He has quicker first step but sets it up with a hesitation dribble. He will stop and pop from mid-range and drill it with a sudden move. He can also score in transition with some contact. He scored 20 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2825332' first='Isaiah' last='Bradley'] Millennium (Hoop Code 16)

A scoring combo guard will fill it up with mid-range pull-ups and gets high elevation and will get balanced very quickly. He will jab step and burst by to score or get fouled and can fall away from 8-feet. He plays off of the pick and roll game and can burst by. He seems to love the mid-range pull-up.

[player_tooltip player_id='2457665' first='Viktor' last='Babic'] Perry (Dream Vision 15)

The lefty wing forward is a sharp shooter who runs the floor well for transition buckets. He will come off a screen and fire away in a blink of an eye from the three point line. He has a deceptive quick first step to get downhill with either hand. He will also jab step and rise up over the defender using his size. He hit a deep three from NBA range and had 19 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194808' first='Carter' last='Bagley'] St. Mary's (Dream Vision 15)

A strong framed wing is handling the ball more and more. He rebounds well in his area and will score with offensive rebound put backs. He will rattle in threes off the catch from the three point line. He stays in motion off the dribble and once he is free, he will catch and shoot it quickly. He can grab a ball off the glass and go coast to coast. He had 16 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1986797' first='Jase' last='Benjamin'] San Tan Charter (UH Elite 16)

A versatile wing forward who can play multiple positions. He is a terror on the break with his speed, bounce and frame. He will hit the three off the catch and cut off the ball for layups. He will also work inside with quick post moves using up and under moves. He scored 21 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1620346' first='Joshua' last='McManaway'] McClintock (AZ Gremlins)

A shooting guard can score it multiple ways with threes off the catch or even step back threes with a quick trigger. He gets to the free throw line with his aggressive rebounding and occasional straight line drives. He seems to be in the right spots inside the paint and cashed in on the line.
