The July live period of the 2025 NCAA recruiting calendar wrapped up earlier this month, and it certainly lived up to expectations. Across New Jersey, numerous class of 2027 prospects impressed with standout showings—especially at guard position—elevating their profiles and setting themselves apart from their peers. Now that the July evaluation window has closed, it's time to highlight some of the 2026 guards who left a strong impression over the past few weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504912' first='Chace' last='Redler'] exploded for multiple loud scoring performances throughout the course of this summer and put on an impressive display of his offensive skillset. Possessing a quick and smooth shooting stroke, Redler showcased his deep range from three point distance. Redler also tapped into his creativity off the bounce getting to his smooth mid range pull up game and crafty finishing around the basket.

Already generating plenty of interest from high academic schools, Redler will be an interesting guard to keep tabs on in the 2027 class.

A smooth PG that possesses plenty of poise with ball in his hands, [player_tooltip player_id='2202019' first='Alex' last='Mazzella'] has showcased his ability to provide a legitimate scoring pop at the point guard position. Mazzella has demonstrated his ability to attack the basket off the bounce as a downhill driver and finish with craftiness in traffic around the basket. Alongside his ability to get to the rim, Mazzella has also demonstrated his ability to consistently knock down outside shots— particularly off the catch and out of ball screens.

Mazzella already holds an offer from Fairfield and has also been generating interest from the likes of Fordham, Drexel, Delaware, and others.

An exceptional shooter from three point range, Lis Binishi demonstrated his ability to be a dangerous threat from the perimeter— knocking down multiple made threes across multiple games. Binishi showed good instincts as a shooter— hunting his shot off the ball, relocating to open space, and utilizing different angles to get open coming different screens and pin downs.

A lights out shooter that demonstrated his versatility as a perimeter shot maker throughout both July live periods, Gabe Kielb showcased his ability to be a smooth but also dangerous threat from the three point line. Kield showcased he's more than capable of shooting it with consistency off the catch, off the dribble, and on the move coming off different types of screens. Kielb also showed a little bit of his unselfishness and toughness as a competitor— making highlight plays on both ends of the floor to impact winning.

A steady floor general who makes winnings plays both as a scorer and a facilitator, [player_tooltip player_id='2421355' first='Kyle' last='Dixon'] put together productive July live periods that showcased his ability to maintain a healthy balance between creating for himself and creating clean scoring looks for his teammates. Whether it was showcasing his creativity off the bounce and finishing with toughness through contact at the basket or advancing the ball up the floor to hit the open man ahead, Dixon showcased his ability to make reliable decisions. Dixon also thrived as on ball defender, consistently pressuring the ball the length of the court.
