The 4th of July is almost here and that brings with it a longstanding tradition - FIREWORKS! Well, there are some players in the class of 2026 that I'd say are like watching a fireworks show. Let's look at some of the athletes!

If you wonder why he's on this list, then you haven't really seen Frantz play. Three pointers can be electric, and Frantz can put them in by the bunches. I saw him almost overheat the scoreboard during the high school season. Frantz has some flare to his game as well with his quick and decisive handles.

Mercer is a must watch fireworks show. He's a magician with the ball, making it disappear to his defender and putting them on his hip. From there, his balance and body control allow Mercer to put on a show while finishing at the rim.

Acuff plays like a firework shot into the air. He can use his quickness and straight line speed to push the pace and make the game fast. Acuff has the ability to catch fire from the perimeter and scorch the nets with his array of triples off the bounce.

Slack plays high school ball in Florida (yes he's still averages over 26 a game) but plays his grassroots ball with the Michigan based Midwest Stampede North. He's been in the 30's and high 20's in points on a regular basis the last 2 summers. Not electric enough? Well, on a big stage at a MADE Hoops event in St. Louis he dropped an eyebrow raising 43.

This one is pretty obvious. We all saw East Lansing's run to the state championship. And a lot of us have seen what he did this spring. There's a reason that he's a favorite to win the next Mr. Basketball in Michigan. Torbert can go off on the biggest of stages, making tough plays look easy.
