There were definitely new prospects that put their name on the map over the weekend with their play at Riverside Brookfield. Here are a few of the notable ones that I saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='2881313' first='Isaiah' last='Rogers'] (Bolingbrook – 2027)

Rogers jumped off the floor right in the first game of the event. He is a long and lanky small forward at 6'5” that showed a lot of projectability as a fluid athlete with slick handles and defensive versatility.

[player_tooltip player_id='2876529' first='Aris' last='Morgan'] (Rock Island – 2026)

Morgan made a big impact in their game against St. Ignatius. The big man has a physical frame with good mobility. He finished well in pick/roll situations and was a dominant rebounder.

Ethan MacDermott (Benet – 2026)

MacDermott provides Benet with a scrappy defender that can really shoot the ball. He did just that in the game we saw pouring them in from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='2869260' first='Kobe' last='Stevenson'] (Thornton – 2027)

Stevenson opened our eyes with an excellent shooting performance. The southpaw let it fly draining three after three. Also mixed in some acrobatic layups and had solid reads in ball screen actions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546996' first='Abrey' last='Robinson'] (Joliet West – 2028)

Robinson is a 6'3” rising sophomore two guard that flashed some upside. Got on the offensive boards and showed capabilities as a shooter.

Panaytiotis Sotos (Maine South – 2026)

This 6'3” point guard will make a big debut in our next rankings update. He has plus positional size along with a rock solid frame. He displayed crisp handles being able to get downhill and easily finished through defenders. Set up his mid-range jump shot well. Good passer and rebounded well for his position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2886358' first='Blake' last='Renfro'] (McHenry – 2026)

Definitely small college potential with this 6'7” power forward. Good athlete for his size that had a nice spinning layup and got to the charity stripe.

Avann King (Warren – 2026)

Big bodied five man that is undersized, but plays his role. Rebound, finish with efficiency out of the dunker spot, and play defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2864914' first='Osiris' last='Bell'] (Kenwood – 2027)

We came away impressed with what Bell brought to the table. The 6'2” shooting guard is a slippery scorer that plays with speed getting to the rack in transition. He is best in an up and down game.
