With the updated version of our class of 2026 rankings coming out, it's time to look at some of the changes we have in the new version. We added over 25 new players to the rankings, with a lot of movement based on last high school season and the spring as well. Throughout the week we'll be putting out content on new faces, biggest risers and positional rankings as well.

Here's a look at part one of some of the top shooting guards and small forwards in the rising senior class rankings.

25) [player_tooltip player_id='2879944' first='Dominic' last='Mack'] | 6'5” SF | Potomac (#61 Overall)

Mack will be suiting up for Potomac from my accounts, and the German native has shown a lot of intriguing tools this summer with Higher Level that shows a lot of upside, particularly if he chooses to go the post grad route after this season. At 6'5” with long arms and a frame that should fill out he looks the part, he can put it on the deck and get to the rim where he's an athletic finisher, he can knock down open shots, and he still has tons of room to develop on both ends of the floor.

24) [player_tooltip player_id='2347772' first='Jake' last='Bahr'] | 6'4” SG | Bishop Ireton (#55 Overall)

Bahr is a guy I might have too low after watching him at DMV Live this past weekend, as he showed he's an elite glue guy who can impact the game in positive ways across the board. The 6'4” off guard is a knock down shooter who can make shots on the move and on kick-outs, he plays with a good motor and toughness on the defensive end, he's a surprisingly good rebounder for his position, and he has a great IQ and good instincts on both ends of the floor to make the right play.

23) Wililam Robinson | 6'5” SF | Westfield (#54 Overall)

Robinson is one of the more underrated players in the NOVA public school sector, as he brings a lot of versatility to a dangerous Westfield team that causes mismatches across the board and he takes full advantage of that. The 6'5” wing is athletic and strong with the ability to attack downhill and finish through contact, he can knock it down from deep off the catch, he moves his feet well and can guard multiple positions, and he produces across the board for them.

22) [player_tooltip player_id='1767553' first='Trey' last='Fitch'] | 6'5” SG | Fairfax Christian (#53 Overall)

Fitch is one of the leaders for this Fairfax Christian team that has been an absolute dynasty in their VISAA D-III classification with four championships in the past five years, and without a single senior last year he stepped into the leadership role and led them to another state championship. At 6'5” he has great positional size and is a solid athlete all-around who can use his length to make plays on the defensive end, he can knock down shots from deep at a high clip, he gets to spots in the midrange and has a good pull-up, and he makes everyone better with his playmaking and leadership qualities too,.

21) [player_tooltip player_id='1963530' first='Marcus' last='Hancock'] | 6'3” SG | St. Stephen's St. Agnes (#52 Overall)

Hancock is one of those players that is just criminally underrated, likely due to the fact that he doesn't jump off the charts as an athlete, but he's a super skilled and well-rounded player that can impact the game in a lot of ways. He's a dead eye shooter with effortless range who can work off the ball and make shots on the move, he makes the right play consistently, and he plays with great energy on both ends of the floor.

20) [player_tooltip player_id='1591319' first='Gabriel' last='D'Allesandro'] | 6'4” SG | Miller School (#51 Overall)

D'Allesandro is coming off of a hip injury that sidelined him for his junior season at Miller, but he's been back this summer and has looked good both in AAU and with Miller at DMV Live last weekend and is someone coaches shouldn't forget about moving forward. The 6'4” two guard is a knock down shooter with great form and a quick release, he's an excellent secondary ball handler who doesn't turn it over and makes good decisions, he plays with great energy and toughness on both ends, and he can get hot and change games when he gets it going.

19) Stephen Cherry | 6'5” SF | Hopewell (#50 Overall)

Cherry is a very intriguing prospect who could see himself move up this list with a good summer, as he is highly talented and versatile for his size with a lot of upside moving forward. At 6'5” he is a smooth athlete who can get to spots off the bounce and is an athletic finisher when he gets downhill, he can knock down shots from all three levels both off the catch and off the bounce, he can guard multiple positions and thrives in finding mismatches offensively, and he still has a lot of room to improve moving forward.

18) [player_tooltip player_id='2561115' first='Jack' last='Castner'] | 6'4” SG | Western Albemarle (#46 Overall)

Castner is coming off a junior season where he was an All State selection and led Western to a really good season, and he's part of a resurgence in prospects from the Charlottesville area that is a big reason coaches should make a trip down there. Castner is as pure a shooter as you will find as he can work off the ball and reads screens well to flair or come off, he sets his feet and has a quick release with effortless range, he's a solid defender who can use his length to challenge shots and get deflections, and he has a great understanding of his game and plays within it so he doesn't make many mistakes.

17) [player_tooltip player_id='2612840' first='Abraham' last='Taft'] | 6'5” SF | Hampton (#45 Overall)

Taft is one of the more high upside players in the 757 right now, as he's steadily improved over the past few years earning an All State selection this season, and he is still heavily under the radar for some reason. The 6'5” wing is a big time athlete who can get on the rim when he gets downhill or when attacking for put-backs, he's steadily improved in his ability to make shots from deep, he can put it on the deck and create for himself, and he;'s a very good rebounder and defender for his position too.

16) [player_tooltip player_id='1782684' first='Isaiah' last='Brown'] | 6'0” SG | Westfield (#41 Overall)

Brown is a player who has shown time and time again his ability to absolutely fill it up, and while he may be a little on the short side as a scoring two guard he's developed his game well and is one of the more consistently productive players you'll come across. He is a walking bucket he drills shots from deep on the move and with range, he has improved in his ability to play on the ball and get to spots in the midrange and at the rim, he's unselfish for a scoring guard and can make plays for others, and he's a very good defender with great instincts on both ends of the floor.
