Undefeated

[program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Fuerte was red hot this weekend winning all five of their games and pushing their way to an 80 percent winning percentage this season. It was two blowouts to start, a 15 point win over Hoop Habits in the quarters, 17 point win over MN Gold in the semis, and then a 15 point win over Titans Stone in the title game. Every win by double figures and they weren't a top ten team coming into the weekend! A truly fantastic run. Rankings wise they are top five. We can't just vault them over six teams they have lost to although they have avenged a couple losses, but they do deserve to be a top five team in the division overall after nine weeks. With a chance to keep rising up the charts! Eleven to five is a huge jump!

Elevate Skills win the Silver and they did it with their closest games coming in the first two rounds of play! They beat TVP, Rise Above, Crossfire Ronning, Phenom Mason, and TLC. They beat TLC by 18 in the title game.

Impressive 4-1/3-1 Showings

[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Stone earned four wins blowing out a couple decent teams, beating [program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy'] for the second time this year, and beating Minneapolis Central before running into a red shot Select team.

Minneapolis Central Team Hollowell was 3-1 getting a huge win over Fury Zurn to start they beat Powerhouse, they then bet Team Get Active, and then lost a close game to the Titans. Should they be ranked? Absolutely but I don't have them for more than eight games total this year that I can find. So if there are more, let me know and I can get things updated. Or maybe they were a two time team just playing which works as well!

[program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy'] came up short of another weekend title losing a one score game to Titans State on (by a basket) but they did beat Crossfire, SW Stars and Team GA and two of those wins were by a big number.

Minnesota Gold had one of the bigger upsets of the weekend knocking off Minnesota Comets and then they followed that with a seven points win over EAT to make the semi-finals. It was a semi-final run for a team that people didn't expect it from, great weekend.

Minnesota Lighting Dahl ran into a tough Titans Stone team and lost by a decent amount but they also knocked off Titans Johnson, defeated the Stars, and beat Powerhouse by a strong number.

Real Phenom Mason was 3-1 in the silver bracket and pushed their season record to 15-15 on the season.

Next Weekend!

The high school teams take center stage next weekend with a monster Breakdown state tournament event but there is also the Heat Summer Showcase that traditionally has some AAU teams playing in the event as well.
