Stock-Risers

[player_tooltip player_id='2388404' first='Wesley' last='Armstrong'] | 6'6 | SF | Garfield

Armstrong had a breakout season last winter at West Seattle and now joins Garfield ahead of his junior year. He's a strong paint presence who plays physical, gets into shot-blockers, eats up rebounds on both ends, and has shown some ability to get to the rim off face-ups from further out. Hard-worker who went toe-to-toe with some top bigs last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2392727' first='Dawson' last='Hintz'] | 6'0 | PG | Lynden Christian

One of the more athletic guards in his class, Hintz helped Lynden Christian to the 1A title game last season and is a kid who can make plays and create opportunities on both ends of the floor. Has some deep range from 3-point, is a slippery downhill driver, and will get a chance to be a lead guard this coming season for the Lyncs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412798' first='Tycen' last='Haij'] | 6'7 | SF | Skyview

One of the fastest risers in his class since popping up on our radar last season. Haij is a long, athletic wing who can fill a bunch of different needs. Has the athleticism and anticipation to be a high-level rebounder while showing various finishing moves in the paint. Already pretty strong at 6-foot-7 too, can defend all over the floor, and should continue to be a rising prospect in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140811' first='Drake' last='Penberthy'] | 6'7 | SF | Bellevue Christian

He's been a very skilled prospect at 6-foot-7 for quite a while, but Penberthy has looked stronger and able to play with a different level of physicality this spring. It's helped him be a stronger finisher and really capitalize on his creativity offensively to exploit mismatches and get into the paint where he can make plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='2626156' first='Mason' last='Emil'] | 6'6 | SF | Mount Rainier

Shown a pretty expansive skill set this spring with some sneaky athleticism, the ability to stretch the floor at a good clip, pull down hard-earned rebounds, and attack his man off the bounce to score from different levels. Can also defend multiple positions and has been able to show up in big spots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140862' first='Tev' last='Uttech'] | 6'7 | SF | Chelan

Skilled wing who continues to grow, now standing at 6-foot-7. Can knock down the three at a good rate, rebounds, and blocks shots, but Uttech is really starting to look more physically imposing and is using his athleticism and size to impact the game at a higher level. Should be in store for a big winter season after helping Chelan to a 24-win season and a 6th-place finish at State.

[player_tooltip player_id='2729711' first='Jericho' last='Julmist'] | 6'3 | SG | Sequim

Smooth-shooting guard who excels off the catch but also has good balance and strength for a guard, which allows him to play through contact to the rim. Has really shown off his shooting ability with Beauchamp Elite this spring while also displaying an expanding finishing package.

[player_tooltip player_id='2393367' first='Kametrius' last='Babbs'] | 6'5 | SG/SF | Rainier Beach

Caught a little buzz this spring with his play for NW Greyhounds. He's a super athletic guard/wing who has shown he can put together some scoring flurries. Likes to get it going to the hoop, but can also knock down the midrange jumper with some consistency. It will be interesting to see how he fits in at Rainier Beach this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2625758' first='Comboni' last='Loku'] | 6'4 | SG/SF | Timberline

He's a long, athletic wing who has been effective around the paint, catching the ball with momentum to the hoop, following plays inside, and attacking gaps off the bounce. Loku could be a riser to watch if he continues to improve that handle and knock down some more shots beyond the arc. He'll be suiting up with Timberline this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2835707' first='JR' last='Davis-McWhorter'] | 6'1 | CG | Bremerton

Davis-McWhorter is a lights out shooter who can really space the floor while also adding in some pace with the ball and a defender who will work to play up the court and into passing lanes. His handle is improving and he's been able to do some more shot-creating this spring. Look out for him with Bremerton this winter as they attempt to defend their 2A title.

New Additions

[player_tooltip player_id='2878329' first='Rhydian' last='Battersby'] | 6'4 | SG | Mercer Island

Could step up to play some good minutes at Mercer Island this winter. Has good size at 6-foot-4 on the wings, moves well, can attack downhill and finishes with some strength and ability to counter shot-blockers. Shoots the ball at a good clip from 3-point range and has a good feel with the rock. Could be a breakout performer this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2399478' first='Isaac' last='Williams'] | 6'2 | PG | North Central

Smart point guard who can score the rock just as well as he can divvy it up. Plays under control, can work out of different sets, and understands his options in certain scenarios. Was efficient from each level last season while averaging 9.9 PPG, 4.7 APG, and 4.6 SPG.

[player_tooltip player_id='2835580' first='Gavyn' last='Dealy'] | 6'7 | PF | Pullman

Strong post at 6-foot-7 who has some good awareness in the post. Has the feet, broad shoulders, and strength to attack angles in the post. Can make a quick move and bump defenders off or grind out a couple of dribbles to get to a good spot. Also passes pretty well out of the post and doesn't hold onto the ball too long down there.

[player_tooltip player_id='2878351' first='Hudson' last='Nellis'] | 6'0 | SG | Evergreen (Vancouver)

This kid can really get going from 3-point range with a quick trigger and the confidence to pull whenever he has space. Saw his ability to get quick buckets help spur runs with Gametime this spring and he's ready to bring some energy behind that shooting. Decent handle and can work off his outside shot.
