In mid-May Badyrka was named as a standout performer at the Spring Jam Fest, after he averaged 16 points per game and buried 26 triples across that tournament. Then this past weekend, at the ZXGL Lehigh Valley Showdown, Badyrka's long range shooting helped push [program_tooltip program_id='2245515' first='NEPA' last='Elite'] 16U HGSL to a 4-0 record. Badyrka can bury threes of every kind. He is especially effective shooting treys out of pick-n-pop action as well as in transition. His non-stop off ball movements and quick trigger make him extremely difficult to guard on the perimeter. Badyrka's solid instincts tell him when to cut back door for easy buckets. Plus, Badyrka owns enough dribble moves to create off the bounce for himself and teammates.

This lefty point guard recently announced that he is leaving Saint Monica's Prep in California and transferring to Neumann-Goretti. I have confirmed with Collins that he will be running with Neumann-Goretti in June. I am looking forward to watching this multi-skilled prospect with an attacking style play. Collins (10.5 ppg., 4.5 rpg. & 3 apg. in 2024-25) is a scoring floor general who can produce points at every level. His scoring prowess often demands that opponents shade the help defense his way or double team Collins. In those situations, Collins will use his court vision and passing skills to deliver creative dimes to teammates. The combination of his speed and scoring / passing skill set makes Collins an open court phenom. Collins holds an offer from Cal State Bakersfield.

Last month our No. 6 ranked prospect in the Class of 2027 announced that he was departing Greensburg Central Catholic, transferring to the Phelps School and reclassing into the 2028 graduate year. In June I am extremely interested to witness how Martin's size and hybrid forward / guard skill set mesh with the uber-talented Phelps roster. Martin is an agile, athletic, and solidly built (200-lbs.) prospect. He can produce points in close by scoring over defenders with either hand or by using a drop step and then powering through contact. Martin can also crash the offensive glass for second chance points. The trifecta of his speed, length and finishing skills make Martin difficult to contain in transition. On defense, he is a fierce rim protector and pulls in tough rebounds.

After the destroying the competition on the April and May grassroots circuits, Pereira received an offer from La Salle University. I am willing to bet that after the June live periods that several more offers come his way. Pereira is an athletic and agile power forward who can operate successfully in an up-tempo game or a half-court style contest. His attacking mid-set and excellent rim-to-rim speed enable Pereira to beat opposing bigs down the court and be an option as a lane filler or on the secondary break. On half-court possessions, Pereira can torch defenders from the high post, the blocks and along the baseline. His ability to convert with defenders hanging all over his arms is extraordinary. At the other end of the court, Pereira is a fierce interior presence.
