It is the month of June which means there are multiple big time college camps taking place in the state. The second IU team camp of the month will be taking place this Saturday and will feature some very good high school teams across the state. The Prep Hoops Indiana team will be making the trip down to Bloomington to catch the action on Saturday and it will be another chance for us to watch some of the best prospects in the state. Here are a few players that I would recommend that you watch for as far as potential standouts.

Perhaps the most under-the-radar name in this list is incoming Bedford junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2116874' first='Parker' last='Kern']. The 6'1 combo is coming into a new look Bedford team and will likely be the go-to guy in many aspects on the floor. He is coming off a really strong spring with Indiana Elite Indiana and is looking to establish his name a bit more this month. Really sharp passer, has length at the point guard spot, consistent shooter off the catch and shows good quickness both on and off the ball.

One of the newer names that has popped up on the Prep Hoops Indiana radar is down in Evansville being incoming senior shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2172596' first='Marrius' last='Harris']. Harris is a 6'1 shooting guard that is a high volume shooter from deep proving that last season going 60-136 (44.1%). He also added 18.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.6 steals per game for the Bulldogs this past season. He may be one of the best pure shooters in Bloomington on Saturday.

The hometown guys from Bloomington North will be looking to have a strong showing at the IU team camp on Saturday. 2027 Bloomington North guard has been really good for Indiana Elite 2027 this spring showing even more improvements to his while also being that lights out shooter we all know him to be. At 6'3, Cross has all the tools you want in your backcourt with length, on-ball skills, ability to score in multiple areas, and contribute a as a facilitator. You can expect him to be one of the more impressive guards at the IU team camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] is always a player you need to watch but this weekend is an intriguing one as this is one of the first times you will see him with his new team, Fishers, after transferring to Lawrence North. There may not be a single player that has had a better spring/start of summer play than McGrew in the in-state 2027 class. He was super dominant during all-star week showing off his energy he brings to front court, elite rebounding, and strong finishing. A great showing this weekend could open up a lot of things for him.
