It's June! The Scholastic Period has begun, meaning prospects across the Palmetto State are back with their High School programs for the next 30 days competing in various camps and events. Yesterday I was in Florence, South Carolina, for Day Two of the 2025 Francis Marion Team Camp. This event features some of the best teams the Palmetto State has to offer and some smaller, Lower-State schools that might not always get the coverage they deserve. Check out my five biggest standouts from Wednesday at the Francis Marion Team Camp:

First up on my list of standouts from Day Two of the Francis Marion Team Camp is [player_tooltip player_id='2137886' first='Bryant' last='Graham Jr']. Bryant helped lead an impressive second-half charge for West Florence in a matchup with Lee Central. In fact, most of the momentum started with a charge drawn by Graham Jr. He was a plus on the defensive end with his activity and ability to rebound the ball and push the pace. Bryant is a capable playmaker off the dribble as he can set up a teammate or score himself. He put up 15 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the win.

Shaw is another 2027 Point Guard outside the Top 100 who brought his A-Game to Florence. Jaden is a very good passer who excels at getting paint touches and finding teammates. He is good in the pick-and-roll with the ability to make reads and split defenders. When spotting up off of the ball, Shaw is a dependable catch-and-shoot guy but can also get into the lane and finish. Jaden went for 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in Game One and 5 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals in Game Two on Wednesday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1172573' first='Ja'Quell' last='Brown'] was one of the highest-ranked prospects at the Francis Marion Team Camp and left at the top of Coach Jake Zehnder's radar. Brown has quickly developed into one of the best shooters in South Carolina's 2026 Class. He knocked down three of his five attempts from behind the arc in Wednesday's first game, finishing with 13 points overall. Ja'Quell is also a guy who you can trust with the ball in his hands because he has a great feel and is a terrific passer. Brown stands out in his role defensively with active hands and loves to get out in transition.

DJ was a second-half machine for McBee in their two wins on Wednesday. He looked to gain comfort and confidence as the games went on as his physicality and constant driving wore defenses down. In a win over Kingstree, 18 of Harper's 24 points came over the final 20 minutes. He also tallied 11 rebounds and 3 steals in the game. DJ took over with his ability to finish in the paint off two, through contact, and with floaters. Harper had an impressive day in Florence and is a name I will highlight on my list for the rest of the Summer.

Rounding out my group of Wednesday Standouts is Kingstree's [player_tooltip player_id='2534865' first='Kayden' last='Scott']. Despite his size, Kayden will dictate the pace of the game and is extremely comfortable with the ball in his hands. Scott has quick feet and quick hands to be a pest on defense, but they also translate to the offensive end as he can beat defenders off the dribble and fit through tight windows. Kayden looked confident getting himself a look or facilitating for teammates. He was particularly efficient in the mid-range, getting to his spots and pulling up with ease. Scott put up 13 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals in the loss to McBee.
