We are hard at work here in the month of June covering weekly high school leagues, team camps, shootouts, and much more. However, even during all of the busy scholastic competition going on this month, we also wanted to find time to update our prospect rankings. This week features our updated and expanded Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings. We are up to 35 ranked prospects and nearly 450 rising sophomore prospects total in the database as a whole after adding about 80 new names this update. As always, we will spend the whole week diving deeper in the rankings. Let's begin here with six prospects who broke into the rankings and/or Watch List.

The most obvious "new name" to add to our Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings was [player_tooltip player_id='2878216' first='Bradley' last='Basila'] who makes his debut all of the way up at #5. The 6'8" center made an immediate impact at Chesterton once he got into the rotation later in the season and is a force for Indiana Elite 15u on the 3SSB adidas circuit. Basila checks all of the boxes physically and athletically already. As he continues to develop his skill level and get more comfortable on the hardwood his game will really take off to another level.

We have had the chance to see this Bloomington High School North prospect a handful of times through the spring at Prep Hoops Circuit events. The 5'11" guard is highly skilled with the ball in his hands and has been a consistent top performer for [program_tooltip program_id='2076162' first='Team' last='Blaze Select'] while playing up a year at the 16u level. Davis shoots it well from three-point range, is a crafty finisher at the end of his drives against size, and has enough wiggle as a ball handler to create his own shot from all levels.

Harrell really caught our attention a couple of weeks ago at the Prep Hoops Circuit Havoc in the Heartland playing with Dreamchasers 15u. He went off for 27 points in one game that we watched showcasing some impressive open floor explosiveness in transition. The 6'0" guard from Evansville Harrison High School is able to get to the rim seemingly whenever he wants off of the dribble and can elevate to finish at the end of his drives. He will definitely be one to watch in the rising sophomore class in the Pocket City area.

Kinder's impressive size as a freshman led to him having a significant impact at Tri High School averaging 8.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the Titans. Not only was the 6'4" forward a force around the basket, but he also flashed some upside as a perimeter threat making 21 three-point shots in the 23 games. Being able to continue adding to his face-up game will be what ultimately makes him a college prospect, but the production that he has already shown is obviously impressive.

Anytime you come across high school freshman that are 6'6" or above it usually is good practice to tuck their name away and follow their development. They don't all keep growing, but usually there are a couple inches still in the tank. We added Larrimore to the Watch List on this update for that exact reason. He has flashed some feel for the game around the basket and the ability to finish with his right hand over his left shoulder. As Larrimore, a Salem High School prospect, continues to get stronger he will have a chance to be a real force around the basket.

There is never a shortage of talent coming through the system at Carmel High School, but it can sometimes be hard to identify the best of the best when they are younger. Reffeitt is one who has separated himself from the pack a bit, especially, at the point guard position, and has earned himself a spot on our Class of 2028 Watch List. The 6'0" guard has a tight handle, displays excellent court vision, and can create scoring opportunities for himself as well. Look for him to emerge in the coming years for the Greyhounds.
