He's patient when bringing the ball up the floor, both sizing up his own defender and scanning the court for easy opportunities for his teammates. He has a nice step-back jumper and excellent footwork that he'll use to put himself in the best positions to score. He can sink it with ease from beyond the arc and get hot in a hurry. He leads the fast break effectively and is a skilled passer that knows how to put the ball in all the right spots for his streakers. His pull-up game is deadly, with a rapid release and pinpoint accuracy to stack buckets. He has a nice ballhandling ability and a lightning-fast crossover that he loves to keep his opponents on their heels with. He's got deep range and can sink jumpers well beyond the arc if he's left open. The opposing defense catches onto this quickly after he strings together a few swishes. He's got a great arc on his jumper that allows him to get his shots up and over the lengthiest of defenders for a clear route to the hoop. He's got active hands and is constantly in the face of his opposition, making their day miserable with each impressive play after the other. He's an absolute beast on the boards, racking them up with regularity on both ends of the court. He fills out the stat sheet with beautiful balance and is a true gamechanger and a winning player. He never shies from contact and he always keeps a next play mentality, which coaches and scouts alike love to see. He moves his body incredibly well while airborne to give himself the best vantage point before his release. He's an impressive shooter with a quick release and a high-arching shot that seldom gets seriously challenged. His range extends well beyond the arc, so his defender never really has any sort of time to relax. His ballhandling skills are next-level and give him the ability t leave his defenders in the dust before they realize they've been beaten. He's persistent at the rim, often stacking boards and racking up second and third-chance opportunities if the first doesn't go in. He's constantly making impact plays on both ends of the floor and building his squad's momentum more and more with each one. He has great vision both offensively and defensively, picking apart defenses with his ballhandling and footwork and picking off opposing passing lanes with a crazy vertical and a nice ability to anticipate where the ball is headed next. He's fearless when he drives the lane, never shying from contact and often finishing through it or opening up a clear opportunity for a teammate to score with ease. He has a nice pull-up jumper and his range extends beyond the arc. There doesn't seem to be much that Messiah can't do to push his team toward victory.
