Ali is a quick, agile combo guard that can take advantage of the smallest slivers of space before his defenders know what happened. His pull-up game is deadly, with a rapid release and pinpoint accuracy to stack buckets. He has a nice ballhandling ability and a lightning-fast crossover that he loves to keep his opponents on their heels with. He’s got deep range and can sink jumpers well beyond the arc if he’s left open. The opposing defense catches onto this quickly after he strings together a few swishes. He’s got a great arc on his jumper that allows him to get his shots up and over the lengthiest of defenders for a clear route to the hoop. I expect Amanullah to make plenty of noise this weekend and beyond.
