2027 Rankings: New Additions

PH NorCal has updated the class of 2027 Rankings. It's always a good when we can add new prospects because of their play on the court. Here are the newcomers who played well while we were watching.    He has good size, and strength. He has some tools to work with. He moves well, can work from different spots, high, and low post. He's a good passer. He squares up right for mid-range jumpers, can spot up for 3's from the top and corners. He used a dribble or two to get to the basket. He looks best using his size and strength to score around the basket. He'll help rebound, and defend in the paint. Good upside.       He's a long, wiry prospect who contributes in different ways. He has good movement on defense, pressuring in extended court, playing the gaps with his lengthy arms, and challenging shooters. He runs to fills lane in transition, he'll spot up in the corners for 3's. He's a ball mover. He'll help rebound.     A good ball handling guard who can create his own shot. He has control and balance squaring up for the mid-range jumpers. He hit corner 3's when left open. He had movement without the ball making hard cuts and finishing through contact. He's a good passer with court vision, he handles ball pressure, and traps.     Standing 6'2, Cetoute is an undersized prospect that has to play big on his team. He's an effective post player for his size. He scores over taller defenders around the basket, he's a good post defender using leverage and strength. He gets rebounds, will keep it and head up court using his guard skills, ball handling, vision, and good passing. He has a strong perimeter drive.     He's a long and fast playing wing type player, excels in transition fearlessly attacking the rim. He's an active player on the court using speed and quickness saving loose balls, diving on the floor, he doesn't mind mixing it up going for rebound. He has good movement defending. His speed and dribble gets him to the basket from different angles. We'll see more.     Hastings continues to grow his game. He's a good ball handler, plays under control, makes good use of his body on drives to the basket, handling contact. He can knock down 3-pointers with good looks from around the perimeter, and hit the mid-range jumper off the dribble. He handles in transition seeing, and looking to make the pass up. He can settle and run the offense in half-court     Ward played his way off the Watch List this Spring. He's grown in size, has a big body with improving movements. He has work to do but is showing he can do things on the court for a player his size. He has the body and strength to put points on the board in the paint, though more foot work is needed. He looked comfortable putting up 3's from the perimeter. He's making progress. Late bloomer?     He's a big body, good strength who can be productive in the paint when he learns to effectively use his body, and polish up his foot work. He'll make the pass from the high and low post looking for cutters, and shooters. At times he shows good activity in the post defending and going for offensive rebounds.     He's an active prospect giving good effort on both sides of the ball. He'll battle for rebounds, run hard up the court. He makes himself available cutting across the lane, playing through contact. He's a ball mover, will set solid screens. He'll use a dribble or two to get closer the basket, he'll take 3's from the corner if open. He has a good strength to post up, and defend in the paint.     It was our first look at the square shoulder prospect with good size and strength. He can handle himself inside going for rebounds and points, yet can comfortably move and work his way around the perimeter using his dribble to get into the paint and putting up open 3ptrs. He had good passing and made the right cuts, works well withing the flow of the offense. We'll see more.
