2026 Rankings Update: Combo Guards to Track

The back court class is loaded with talent, especially at the combo guard position. The 6'2 guard explodes off the floor for dunks and can finish through contact. Chatman has a good touch in the mid-range and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He plays with composure on the ball and is a tough on-ball defender. Lewis is unafraid of taking shots in big moments and has a nice release on his jumper. He is an underrated passer and has the length to guard both back court spots. Hunter is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finishes well around the basket. He can find his open teammates in the half court. Maldonado is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He moves his feet on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. He moves well without the ball in his hands and gets deflections on the defensive end.
