Hillman struggled with injuries through his underclass years while bouncing between Roman Catholic (PA) and Camden Catholic, respectively, but is now healthy and has found a home with a Camden Eastside program that’s been on a steady rise over the past half-decade. A powerfully-built guard, he’s able to score in bunches while posing a viable threat at multiple levels. He consistently creates paint touches using his strength and change-of-pace ability while also keeping defenses honest as a dangerous perimeter shooter both off the catch or flowing into pullups with space in front of him. While he’s thrived as a proverbial big fish in a small pond, he flashes the ability to make others better with unselfish passing ability, which could allow him to really take off if developed further at the next level. It’s easy to see why Hillman already holds multiple offers at the D2 level.

A confident and reliable ball handler, Hillman effectively orchestrates offense for Camden Eastside, consistently finding teammates for dump offs and easy finishes around the rim. He’s also stood out for his aggressiveness in attacking the paint— using his strength to finish through contact at the basket, while mixing in some soft touch floaters and runners from different angles and even showing flashes of his outside shot making ability.

A confident and physical ball handler, Hillman has shown an ability to effectively orchestrate the offense, consistently making the right reads and setting up teammates with quality looks around the rim while also standing out with his ability to penetrate the defense and finish through contact in the paint.

Capable of playing either guard position, Bryce Hillman Bryce Hillman 6'2" | CG/PG Camden Eastside | 2026 State NJ had a strong showing that saw him thrive both as a guy that can create his own offense while also making the right read and creating good looks for his teammates. A strong and confident ball handler, Hillman did a good job of setting the table for Camden Eastside and finding his teammates for dump offs around the basket. Hillman also excelled at getting in the paint and finishing strong through traffic.

Hillman has had a bit of a meandering high school career, battling injuries at points along the way, but looks to have found a home entering his second year at Eastside. A high-volume downhill scoring guard who can erupt in the blink of an eye, generates paint touches with consistency using his strength and change-of-gears, particularly out of ball screens. He’s comfortable scoring from deep off the bounce or spotting up as well, which has led to some explosive performances in AAU this spring. There’s questions about how his game translates to a lower-usage role if he can’t show himself to be more of a true lead guard at the next level, but playing his best basketball of late has Hillman trending in the scholarship-level direction heading into the summer.
