Monday evening the games kicked off at Nike Elite 100! The top 2027 and 2028 prospects in the country took center stage in front of NBA scouts and many more. Here are the prospects that made the biggest impression on us on the first evening in 20 Best: Nike Elite 100 Monday Night!

Jaxson Davis (Warren, IL – 2027)

Covering Illinois consistently I know how special Davis is as a player. In the second game of the night he put the nation on notice as he controlled certain portions of the game with high-major studs all over the floor. Pick/pop pass, pick/roll dime on a bounce pass in traffic, multiple pull up threes, and a blow by for floater. Complete winner at PG spot!

Davion Thompson (Link Academy, MO – 2027)

The former Illinois product had it working in the last game of the night as the contest went along. More of a natural scorer they played him on the ball where he was very comfortable making solid reads and knocking in pull up threes, slick finishes in transition, and had a blow by finish for a floater.

Jalen White (Bella Vista College Prep, NV – 2027)

The 6'5” wing was probably the freakiest finisher we saw all day. He threw down dunk after dunk at the end of their game including a pair of monster Dominique Wilkins like slams for the exclamation point on the contest. Can win off the bounce, hit a three, and moves well off ball.

Marcus Spears Jr (Dynamic Prep, TX – 2027)

Spears was the best prospect we saw on Monday. The 6'8” lefty four plays so hard every single possession. Plus 15 foot jumper, fluid getting to the rim off bounce with long strides, dunk on a cut, rim runs, and even handled going coast to coast. Switchable defender and rim protector.

Gene Roebuck (La Miranda, CA – 2027)

Have been a fan of this 6'4” 210 pound shooting guard for a while. Powerful wing that is such a creative bucket getter. Good strength and nimble footwork finishing around the hoop on drives. Clean pull up 15-18 foot game as well.

Miles Simpson (Webster Groves, MO – 2028)

This 6'4” long and lanky wing is a freak athlete even on this type of stage. He covers so much ground which was shown on one play were he cut for a steal and dunk. Also liked how he snuck in making an impact on the offensive glass for multiple put backs.

Anthony Williams II (Locust Grove, GA – 2028)

Once again it is easy to see why many are so high on Williams. At 6'6” he has a nose for the basketball like few have. Multiple tip slams. The skill and instincts are very impressive!

Bentley Lusakueno (Pace Academy, GA – 2028)

Another serious contender for the top 2028 in the country here. Only caught a little of his game, but the upside just jumps off the floor at 6'10” with a long and agile frame. Elite movement skills for his size and age. Blocked shots and looked super comfortable banging in a feathery three ball.

Justin Wise (North Oconee, GA – 2027)

Liked what we saw right out the gates from this 6'3” scoring guard. He pushed the pace and consistently got to his spots in the mid-range rising up and knocking them in at a high clip.

Jaydn Jenkins (Archbishop Wood, PA – 2027)

Jenkins is a 6'7” five man that was a dominant shot blocker in the game we saw swatting everything that came near him. Excellent timing and length as a rim protector. Can get up and down the floor well and flashed a nice hook shot as well.

King Kendrick (Caldwell Academy, NC – 2027)

If you are asking who is the best leader in the gym it is without a doubt this 5'11” lead guard. True floor general that has soft touch finishing game for days along with a clean jumper from mid-range and three. Vocal leader and has that “it” factor you can't teach.

Omari Chaudhry (Overtime Elite, GA – 2027)

Here you are looking at a 6'2” shooting guard that likes to get up and down the floor. Combo guard pushes pace and has a slick euro step to finish around defenders. Pressure on ball defender that was picking up with intensity.

Munir Greig (Archbishop Carroll, PA – 2027)

Explosive athlete at the wing position. Threw down a nasty baseline slam and really excelled in transition in the half we saw of his game.

Anthony Goring Jr (Kirkwood, TN – 2027)

At 6'8” and 214 pounds we are looking at a big boy here. He is an extremely physical rebounder that mauled on the glass throughout our time watching him. The big bodied five also ran the floor well for his size.

Mustafa Mohamed (South St. Paul, MN – 2027)

Mohamed measured in at 6'10” and 190 pounds. Long and lanky frame with a lethal pull up game. He poured in one after another in the mid-range throughout the night. Bouncy athlete with some skill.

Matteen Cleaves Jr (Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep, MI – 2027)

The son of former Michigan State legend was very good on the opening night of the event. Combo guard with strength that was very comfortable knocking in threes off the catch.

Elijah Joseph (Iona Prep, NY – 2027)

Liked what we saw from this long and rangy 6'8” five man. High activity level. Tip slam, rip for a sweeping finish, and rolled to the hoop for a slam.

Brandon Woodard (Bishop McNamara, MD – 2027)

At 6'7” Woodard was electric with his second jump on the offensive glass for put backs. So quick consistently throughout the evening. Threw down some massive dunks.

Dylan Jones (Bartlett, TN – 2027)

Tweener 3/4 that at 6'5” has a super physical frame and plays with a ton of intensity. Vocal leader on the floor and brings it finishing with force and on the glass.

Precious Sam (AZ Compass, AZ – 2027)

One of the most physically intimidating forces in the camp Sam is a 6'9” 242 pound enforcer down low. He blocks shots, snatches rebounds at high point, and will give a hard foul when he needs too.
