VanderWaal has easily been one of the most impressive post players in the state this grassroots season. He's gotten bigger and stronger and has really learned how to dominate the paint, both with points and on the glass. Maybe the best improvement that VanderWaal has made has been how comfortable he is with the ball in his hands.

To be perfectly honest, I'm just learning about Jimenez and his game. But that's what grassroots season is for. What I can tell you is that he has a ton of upside as a prospect and has the chance to be an elite defender in the paint. Jimenez has blocked a ton of shots this spring with good vertical defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2276654' first='Quincy' last='Wright'] has absolutely blown up so far this grassroots season. He really looks ready to dominate near the rim next high school season. Wright has been a double-double machine with points and rebounds. And he's been able to do that in EYBL sessions, which in itself is eye-opening.

Claerbaut is another post player on the west side of the state that keeps getting better. I like the way he uses his length on the defensive end and keeps on the mind of finishers when they get in the lane. Claerbaut has good feet and has the ability to pull defenders out of the paint on the offensive end.

Gugle is an impressive wing prospect. He's already picked up an offer this season and certainly has more on the horizon. Gugle is an athlete through and through that can defend on the perimeter but step over and block shots on the block when helping from the weakside. Offensively, Gugle a true multi level scorer.
