I was thoroughly impressed with the way that Claerbaut played at The Final Chapter. I just really like the way he’s developed his game. He’s tall and has length and he knows how to use it on the defensive end. He was also rebounding high. Offensively, he showed the ability to stretch the floor with his shot. Claerbaut showed good feet and moved freely and smoothly on offense.

Claerbaut is another post player on the west side of the state that keeps getting better. I like the way he uses his length on the defensive end and keeps on the mind of finishers when they get in the lane. Claerbaut has good feet and has the ability to pull defenders out of the paint on the offensive end.

Claerbaut had a terrific summer and is ready to be a force in high school ball. He’s one of the top post defenders in the junior class with good feet and the ability to challenge vertically. Offensively, Claerbaut is a threat from multiple levels.

I was so impressed with Claerbaut this summer. He is and can be such a unique player and prospect. Defensively, he’s an elite post defender and rim protector. There are very few looks that go unchallenged when he’s under the rim. Offensively, Claerbaut can be counted on to pick up some put back buckets, but he also has the ability to step outside and stretch the D.

Claerbaut was excellent this grassroots season with Northcoast Premier. He was a solid rim protector that anticipated and redirected shots. On the other end, he can get buckets with his length and has the look of a 4 that can that stretch the floor.

Claerbaut was impressive to say the least. He was a perfect example of a very tall, long and skilled Northcoast Premier 2026 team. He protected the rim with his length, walling up and challenging finishers at the basket. Claerbaut showed a lot of versatility on the offensive end. He could go over the top of defenders with touch in the post, but could also step outside and shoot from deep effectively stretching the defense.

Claerbaut probably has an argument to be higher on the list. I really like his upside. While he can turn himself into an elite post player, don’t pin him in a position. A long defensive wing that can fill it up from deep and finish with touch around the rim sounds pretty intriguing. Regardless of position, Claerbaut’s versatility will cause big problems for opponents.

Claerbaut has a lot going for him as a player and prospect and college coaches will want to get in early. He could continue to grow and add strength and become an elite post prospect. But Claerbaut has ball skills and range on his jumper as well. He just just as easily transition to a tall and long 3 that can fill it up and rebound like a big.
