<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Midwest Stampede South 2026 team went south to Memphis, Tennessee for the Live Period. They competed against some high level competition at the Made Hoops Memphis Live. The team finished 2-2, with a chance to win their pool in the last game. The Stampede South team was shorthanded with a 5-6 man roster throughout the weekend. They players played hard and showed their skills at the event. We'll start at the offensive end. He did what he does best - fill it up from beyond the arc. Francis was a threat from corner to corner. Defensively, he showed that he can pressure high level ball handlers. He suffered an injury, but because of the small roster, battled through it. In fact, he played an entire game through it. Miars looked more confident in his shot and he showed why by connecting on it. He's so strong and aggressive with the ball. Calhoun showed that he's at his best attacking space with a quick 2 dribble drive, then either scoring through a defender or dishing off when the defense collapses in. He was very active on the boards and around the rim. Turk scored often on put backs and quick 2 dribble drives playing off contact.
