<p>The 6'11 Pearson made his announcement on his social media account on Monday afternoon. He is one of the top shot blockers in the state along with being an excellent lob threat on the offensive end.</p>

<p>Pearson was rated the No. 1 prospect in the Prep Hoops Missouri Class of 2026 rankings. He chose the Golden Eagles of the Big East Conference over schools such as Iowa, Missouri, Purdue, DePaul, Illinois, Iowa State and several others.</p>

<p>As a junior, he averaged 16.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks a game while shooting 69 percent from the field. As a sophomore, he averaged 13 points and seven rebounds a game in helping lead the Bombers to a berth in the Class 4 state tournament.</p>

<p>Pearson plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075324' first='Brad' last='Beal Elite'] during the grassroots season in the Nike EYBL. He was a force last summer in BBE's run to the Nike Peach Jam championship in the 16U Division. He provided elite rim protection as he was the leading shot blocker at the Peach Jam.</p>
