Shane’s Top 17U Players – Run-n-Slam

He is such a fast and quick guard who beats everyone to the rim in transition. He elevates extremely high and has great body control in the air. His touch around the rim is very impressive to watch. He puts pressure on the rim and makes the defense collapse. He had multiple and-1 finishes or drew fouls. He was not being stopped from getting to the rim. He has a unique quality when the ball is in his hands there is a calmness. You trust the ball in his hands because of his decision-making and scoring ability. He has a confidence on the court as well. He has a great shooting touch that allows the ball to drop if it hits the rim. He can knock down shots at a high level from midrange and beyond. He is a quick score first point guard who plays under control. He showed a great ability to always be on balance. He got to the lane and in the midrange and created for himself. His ability to land on two and use his pivot foot creatively. He showed great touch around the rim. He plays with an insane amount of energy and motor. He dove on the floor multiple times for loose balls. The intensity and energy he uses on the defensive end are impressive and something that you can't help but love. He defends the perimeter so hard. On offense, he knows how to score when he needs to. Gets to the rim well. He does a great job of elevating his game and being more aggressive in games when his team needs him to. He can score on all three levels. He is good at driving all the way to the rim in transition. He is a highly confident player who doesn't need much space to let his shot fly. His height and length makes it tough for most other guards to contest his shot.
