I was a fan of how Jaquiox Bavor facilitated open looks for his teammates last weekend. He did a great job of drawing attention and then dishing it off at the right time. I also thought that he played some stout defense. He didn't give the guy that he was guarding much breathing room and he displayed lateral quickness.

[player_tooltip player_id='2848660' first='Max' last='Malley'] lit it up from downtown last Saturday and hit five 3-pointers against Team Supreme. He was constantly moving off ball and found ways to get open. In addition to his shooting, Malley also hustled on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2457855' first='Lucas' last='Alvarado'] impressed me with his IQ and instincts during the Prep Hoops Bash In The Desert. On defense, he was covering ground at a rapid rate and forced opponents to pass the ball off or take ill advised shots. I also noticed him come up with a few steals. On offense, he can get to the cup or hit shots from the outside. In addition to his skillset, he has good size for a guard.

Xander Chooy-Chea caught fire on Friday night. He was floating around the 3-point line on offense, and his point guard looked for him often. When he got the rock, he didn't waste time and showcased a quick release. Chooey-Chea can get to the rack as well if his defender overplays him.

8th Grader, Brady Kerzmann, held his own in the 15U division this past weekend. He plays with composure and is always looking to make the right play. I noticed him connect on both jump shots and lay-ups. On the defensive end, he marks his man well and doesn't get out of position. The future looks bright for him.
