The 2025 Phenom Memorial Day Classic took place this weekend in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Prep Hoops SC was in attendance for Day One on Saturday. This has been a must-stop for me the last two years and symbolizes the final event of the Spring Season for many teams. Take a look at some of the top 2026s from Saturday at the Phenom Memorial Day Classic:

Leading off my standouts from the Phenom Memorial Day Classic is [player_tooltip player_id='2634954' first='Wallace' last='Campbell']. I've been targeting Campbell and his Warriors Elite squad all Spring, and it finally worked out for me to watch them this weekend. Wallace is a versatile wing, capable of playing multiple positions in the front court depending on need. Campbell can create his own shot or make plays for others off the dribble with a good handle for his size. That size makes finishing at the rim easy and allows him to produce on both sides of the glass. He finished with 15 points in a win over Upward Pee Dee.

On the other end of Campbell and Warriors Elite was Brown and [program_tooltip program_id='2412982' first='Upward' last='Stars Pee Dee']. Despite the loss, he went for 15 points including a made three from the left wing. Kevin also had an impressive dunk, displaying his athleticism. Brown felt like the Stars' only consistent offensive threat and displayed his ability to attack with either hand and finish around bodies. On the defensive end, Kevin was used at the top of a zone, allowing him to use his length to disrupt passes and shot attempts.

Next up on this list of standouts is [program_tooltip program_id='2830096' first='Upward' last='Stars Gold']'s [player_tooltip player_id='1824185' first='Jordan' last='Jenkins']. He is also a football player at Conway High School and his size and athleticism are a tantalizing combination in both sports. On the hardwood, Jordan is a terrific defender who can guard inside and out at a high level. His offensive game is built around his physical advantage. Jenkins cuts well and is a lob threat in transition and in the half-court, but he can also get the rack off the dribble. Jordan finished strong through contact on multiple occasions, putting up 13 points off the bench.

Johnston stood out as the Stars lead guard in Saturday's second game. He started off the game strong with a made three in the right corner, but that was his only made field goal of the game. However, Abrams racked up 9 assists. Johnston's skillset fits his team's offense perfectly as he does a great job of limiting turnovers and putting his teammates in positions to be successful. He sees the floor well, changes pace to get past defenders, can make passes through tight windows to the corners, and dumps off to his bigs in the paint. Abrams is also a decent defender despite the size and picked up 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447621' first='Jayden' last='Crews'] rounds out my list of standouts from the Phenom Memorial Day Classic in Rock Hill. Crews is a potential stock riser from this Spring and also impressed me at the Phenom Challenge last month. He is a knockdown shooter and his coach will often call BLOB's to get him open on the perimeter. Both of Jayden's made threes were in the first half in the left corner, but hit a nice pull-up jumper in the mid-range. When working off the dribble, Crews has a quick first step and is a creative finisher at the rim. He tallied 10 points, 2 assists, and 3 steals in a loss to the eventual 17U Blue Bracket champions.
