The Phenom 336 Showcase took place on Saturday in Kernersville, North Carolina. It was one of Phenom Hoops' smaller events of the season, but it was still a great chance to check out some of North Carolina's top programs. Check out some of my notes, thoughts, and tidbits from the Phenom 336 Showcase:

[program_tooltip program_id='2375668' first='SW15H' last='Elite'] Starts Hot

- [program_tooltip program_id='2375668' first='SW15H' last='Elite'] 2026 went 2-0 this weekend at the Phenom 336 Showcase. They didn't have a big roster at the event, but their big-man combo of [player_tooltip player_id='2055526' first='Aidan' last='Rousseau'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2868252' first='Julian' last='Adigun'] was a big reason for their success.

- They are both capable jump shooters, but their ability to affect the game close to the rim was crucial.

- Rousseau excelled as both a passer and a scorer, often finding Adigun in high-low actions. Rousseau scored a couple of times with his back to the basket as well.

- Standing at 6'11", Adigun has an enticing physical frame with good mobility to cover ground on the defensive end.

Chienggen Pur and Marshall Patrol the Paint for [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3']

- Another pair of Fowards who impressed in Kernersville was [player_tooltip player_id='2287864' first='Charles' last='Chienggen Pur'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2539148' first='Carlos' last='Marshall'].

- Charles didn't have his best offensive showing, but he did show flashes with his speed, face-up game, and rebounding instincts. He also battled through contact in the paint on several occasions.

- Marshall played as more of a traditional four, as he is a strong-framed big who walls up on defense but is skilled enough to hit a 15-footer.

- The duo combined for 12 points and 13 rebounds in a game-one win.

Team Pittman 2028 Impresses on D

- Team Pittman 2028 has been one of the top independent teams in North Carolina so far this Spring. They continued that with a big win over [program_tooltip program_id='2078553' first='WCBA' last=''] 2028, holding them to just 19 points.

- Noah Dulin and Shane Lucas-Walker are two physically gifted prospects at the current stage, using their size and athleticism to protect the rim, clean the glass, or create turnovers.

- On the offensive end, it was Nashon Johnson who carried the load. He plays bigger than his listed size because he is both strong and physical. Johnson has some polish in the post, particularly with his footwork. He also looks to play off two feet on the drive and can finish through contact. Nashon had 11 points and 9 rebounds in the win.

[program_tooltip program_id='2446758' first='Team' last='CP3 EYCL'] Features Bright Young Core

- [program_tooltip program_id='2446758' first='Team' last='CP3 EYCL'] 2028 played up a division this weekend and still went 2-0, winning by an average of 35 points per game.

- [player_tooltip player_id='2559283' first='O'Brian' last='Lowery Jr.'], Michael Russell Jr., [player_tooltip player_id='2699919' first='Roman' last='Solheim'], and Dorian Moore are some of their key pieces.

- Lowery Jr. and Russell Jr. have the ball in their hands often and are both exciting playmakers. O'Brian looked quick, navigated traffic well, and showed nice hands on the defensive end, while Michael was crafty and creative in finishing at the rim.

- Solheim and Moore look to use their skill and physicality to affect the game from the wing. Solheim knocked down a pair of threes and had a pair of And-1s, displaying inside-out scoring ability. Moore's athleticism is intriguing, but he is also a good rim protector and works hard on the glass on both ends.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078553' first='WCBA' last=''] Catches Fire From Three

- I checked out their 2026 group in my final game of the day, and they did not disappoint.

- They hit 11 threes in a 65-48 win, pulling away early with three straight threes from [player_tooltip player_id='2636152' first='Mack' last='Snavely']. Snavely had seven of the 11, torching the opponent's 1-2-2 Zone.

- Brayden Tuttle also had success from behind the arc with a pair coming off the dribble.
