Tagle has shown up as a key facilitator and high IQ player for Seattle Select this spring. He's a crafty player on both ends, evading pressure with change of speeds, ball fakes, passes, and lookoffs. He plays with acute awareness defensively and makes some highly instinctual plays, staying aware of where guys are and working to be in the right spot to make plays off the ball. Had one game against Cali Hogs where he got a steal and layup, then quickly read the guard trying to get open on the inbound and stole that pass then hit a three. That sequence put Seattle Select up eight late in a tight game and epitomized his ability to quickly impact a game with his heady and ready play.

The [program_tooltip program_id='2078823' first='Washington' last='Supreme'] guard is a real threat operating off the catch. He can knock down threes off the catch and when he sees a gap, he doesn't hesitate to go to work quickly. He's been great at attacking lanes, drawing up extra defenders and making the right read off his paint touches. He also puts in the work on the defensive end, not just guarding the perimeter, but keeping good position when he gets switched onto bigger players in the post too.

The defensive-minded guard has really elevated his offensive play over the past year, and he's been showing all the elements of being a complete point guard this spring. He can defend at a high level, knocks down open shots out to three, can create off the bounce in a pinch, and has been much stronger on his downhill drives. He is a kid who will just find ways to make an impact on defense, drawing charges, chasing down plays from behind, playing active off the ball, and while his defense will continue to be his calling card, he's really become a reliable offensive threat and expanded his game.

Showki was one of the better scorers in his league this past year but he's also one of the more underrated true point guards in his class. Yes he scored over 20 ppg, but he's also a very crafty dribbler who does a great job exploiting gaps, going through progressions, and making plays both with and without the ball to get the ball into the paint and work from the middle. He's agile, smart, and patient but ready to go, and has been displaying all these qualities this spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2076260' first='FOH' last=''] EYCL. He's got talent at all positions around him on this squad and has shown how he can impact a game as a legit facilitator.

Looker is a good athlete at the point who can impact the game on both ends. He has great feet and hands, allowing him to play quick with the ball, bursting out of dribble moves, attacking gaps, and applying pressure up and down the court on ballhandlers. He's shown some strong finishing through contact at the rim as well as some excellent playmaking off downhill drives, and great awareness to pass around help defenders and go against the grain to get his guys open looks at the rim.

Newsome has a good feel for controlling tempo with the rock, keeping his defenders off balance with creative footwork and change of speeds, and using his body to protect his dribble and keep the edge on his man. He's creative and controlled moving through multiple levels of defenders on his rim takes and shows the awareness to deploy various finishes with touch to negate the efforts of shot blockers.
