It is finally time for the first live period weekend of the AAU season and we at Prep Hoops Indiana are more than excited to see what our in-state prospects do. From Iowa, to Memphis, to Cincinnati, there are multiple places that will be hosting big time AAU events in which there are expected to be multiple colleges coaches in attendance across all host sites. The live period starts on Friday but before we get there, let us look at my second five players to watch for this weekend.

Ladd has been a player in the state of Indiana that went from unknown, to a player that has some of the biggest upside out of any prospect we may have. After having a breakout sophomore year with Ben Davis leading the Giants in scoring 13.2 ppg, he has had a really solid spring with the new Indiana Basketball Club 3SGB. A very athletic wing that can make a lot of plays off the bounce while also being able to stretch the floor as well. He comes into the first live period weekend with an offer from Miami (OH). Catch him this weekend in Nebraska.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561445' first='Mason' last='Darrell'] has started to make a strong name for himself in the northern part of the state being one of the top player for Crown Point this season. Now, he is looking to have that national breakout with the first live period weekend taking place this weekend. Darrell is running with [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] this AAU season and will be playing in the Puma Pro16 event down in Kansas this weekend. He is a very athletic, on-ball guard that makes plays in the lane and can knock down the three at a high level. Expect pure toughness and a high motor out of him all weekend.

Robisch is one of the top wing prospects we have in the in-state 2027 class with about much upside as any player in the upper tier. As a sophomore, he stepped into a big time role for Park Tudor where he showed flashes of the potential he has at the next level. The 6-foot-6 small forward is an elite two-way player that has the skillset and size to be a factor on both ends of the floor. Watch him this weekend playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] 2027 in Nebraska.

[player_tooltip player_id='2266897' first='Kenneth' last='Lampley'] is easily one of the more intriguing prospects to watch this entire AAU season, starting this weekend down in Memphis for Indy. After not playing this past high school season, this will be the first time pretty much everyone gets a chance to see the 6-foot-7 forward since a year ago. Lampley is a versatile forward with a blend of size, skill, and athleticism that allows him to make plays in the post most of the time. He is going be a player coaches will be interested in and expect him to get a few more offers along with his current Rutgers offer.

As a pure shot-maker, [player_tooltip player_id='1989437' first='Logan' last='Pokorney'] has been a player in the 2026 class that I have been extremely high on ever since this past season watching him play for Chesterton. He will be once again running with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] US Rise this AAU season and he is entering his most important grassroots year. At 6-foot-4, he brings a ton of length on the wing with smooth moves that on-and-off the ball to get a bucket. He is capable of heating up quickly in any game that he is in and it would not be shocking to see him have one or two high scoring outputs this weekend in Cincinnati.
