Irmael was one of the best young guards at Havoc in the Heartland. He showed great ball handling skills by getting around defenders and making plays. He scored or assisted on his team's first sixteen points. Irmael jump-started the Dreamchasers offense by scoring the first seven points of the game. He knocked down a three-pointer and scored two layups attacking the basket. This young man is a scorer in the making! He's very knowledgeable about creating shots. Whether he used the dribble or teammate screens, Irmael always found a way to stay aggressive on offense. In the beginning of the game, his ball handling skills got a reaction from the crowd. He dribbled the ball between his legs and had the defender going in the opposite direction. This would be two of the first seven points he scored, Irmael is a play-maker who always looked to make his teammates better. Many of his assists led to easy scores for other Dreamchaser players. Irmael is a special player who has a bright future in basketball. Especially, when he learns to control his emotions. Keep it up Irmael!!

Guy excelled at scoring in the paint and grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court. There was a sequence in the game where he pump-faked his opponent on the wing and quickly attacked the basket. I was totally shocked! I did not expect Guy to be quick enough to make a play in this fashion. He was more effective doing work inside the paint. He used a variety of post moves to score over smaller defenders. He was also great at cleaning up his teammates misses at the rim. A large number of his scores came from grabbing offensive rebounds. Guy also showed the ability to shoot and score from mid-range. I watched him knock down a couple of high percentage shots during the game. Guy is the ultimate team player! He's the kind of person who gives his all to help the Dreamchaser team win games. Keep it up Guy!!

Keilan was awesome! I enjoyed watching this young man play as both scorer and facilitator. His ball handling skills allowed him to be an effective passer. Keilan easily got around his defender and found teammates in scoring positions. His assists led to positive outcomes for the Dreamchaser team. He also used these same skills to score the basketball. In the game he was able to drive by his opponent and score on floaters down the lane. Keilan did this on multiple occasions. He showed his ability to shoot the ball as well. Whenever there was an opportunity to knock down a three, he did so. Defensively, this little guy made plays. Keilan applied great on-ball pressure to his opponent by using quick hands and excellent footwork. This forced many turnovers and mistakes. Keilan is a promising young player. Keep it up Keilan!!

Kendrick did a little of everything on the basketball court. He played hard and did whatever the Dreamchaser team needed. Whether it's scoring in the paint, rebounding or defending, Kendrick was effective in all areas. He hustles to make all the necessary plays on the court. Many of Kendrick's scores came from offensive rebounds. He is an excellent passer who found teammates cutting to the basket. Kendrick showed his athleticism by running the court and finishing during fast-break opportunities. Defensively, Kendrick was great at blocking shots and protecting the paint. He is the ultimate team player. Coaches love an unselfish player who puts the team first. Keep it up Kendrick!!
