Cream City Collision: Illinois & Wisconsin 2027 Stock Risers

The Prep Hoops Circuit was in Milwaukee this weekend for the Cream City Collision. Teams took the floor from across the Midwest which featured excellent basketball being displayed throughout the 3 day event. Let's take a closer look at some of the players from the 16U division that showcased their talents in versatile ways.    A crafty ball handler with smooth handles. Goes off the bounce quickly to convert on primary break opportunities off the outlet or off of a rebound. Sees the floor well in different phases of the offense. Can split defenders with his natural quickness and will read the defense accordingly. Gets to the rim quite often and was able to convert on dribble drives.     Has a nice feel for the game. Reads the ball well defensively creating turnovers. Caught the first game of the weekend and had a few takeaways in the backcourt for a finish and another takeaway which turned into transition points. Made a cut in the middle of the D to retrieve it and finish. Came away with a couple O Boards as well which converted into 2nd chance buckets.     Had a hot hand in the first game of the weekend. Tallied him for 5 3's off catch and shoots at a high percentage mark. Able to space away from the defense to find his opening. Got on the glass off of misses to collect a few rebounds as well. Made a good read in the 1/2 court set for a backdoor and finish.     An athletic wing that has good bounce and rhythm for the game. Can be a 2 or 3 at the next level. Runs the floor fast in the break phase with eyes peeled to take it himself or dish it off. Made a great rip through off the catch from an EOB with 2 hard dribbles and finishing high at the rim. Can catch and shoot from 3. Will challenge on the ball defensively.     Plays the off guard position which fits well. A smooth finisher that will penetrate into the teeth of the defense and can finish in traffic. Uses his driving abilities consistently to get to the hole. Is able to draw contact on defenders to go to the stripe or before the shot attempt. Stays active on defense and made a couple clean blocks to give team a spark.     Showed good hands and feet in the first game of the day on Saturday. Posts hard on the block and can spin quickly using his frame to his advantage. Poised and patient on the catch to see the floor accordingly. Made a couple nice moves off the dribble seeing the zone D appropriately and then finishing off the bounce. Hedges screens efficiently on D.     Good ball handler that uses his quickness to his advantage. Had a couple catches with a jab step to sway the defender off balance and then knock down the 3 ball. Made a nice catch off of flashing in the lane to turn and finish over longer size. Will utilize court vision to see the floor on drives for dish offs between defenders.     A lengthy wing who is in the action of the main play quite a bit. Will bring it down occasionally and sees the floor well. Caught the first game of the team's weekend. Had a couple good hard takes to the rim in the first half to finish or draw contact. In the 2nd half got on the glass for a couple O boards and put back buckets. Runs the floor at a good rate and is coachable.
