Another set of 2027 names in Minnesota that we have really seen move their potential and ability to a higher level in the past year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2127213' first='Tollef' last='Birkeland'] of Pequot Lakes/Minnesota Comets. Birkeland is a 6'3/6'4 longer skilled guard with agility. He looks every bit like a prospect and is the kind of player that we could see climb even higher. Unfortunately injuries have got in the way of him playing as of late but he is on the radar. Averaged 13 points, five rebounds and three assists a game shooting nearly 40 percent at the arc on a balanced state tournament team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green'] of Breck/Hoop Habits. Green was a valuable ball pressuring, handling, and open shot making piece to the Breck team this year and he has really done well in the same role for his Hoop Habits team this spring. Green has a lot of similar traits to Mu Muhammad his teammate and the pair of them are going to make Breck very dangerous next year. Green has taken a nice big step forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126866' first='Matthew' last='Jordan'] of Buffalo/[program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy']. Jordan had a nice role for a solid Buffalo team and he has been a go-to option this 16u season that has won so many games. Jordan is one of the more dangerous shooters in his class and at 6'2 there are a number of 16u well established AAU teams that wished he was hitting shorts for them, not against them.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140617' first='Geno' last='Ward'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140577' first='Carson' last='Kuchenbecker'] of Holy Family/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury']. This pair started as sophomores for the Fire and got better as the year moved on. Holy Family won six of their last nine games. Geno is an attacking guard that has had a brilliant season for Fury Goring as well and Carson has been solid at 16s finishing and rebounding around the cup. Both look like they could take big strides and help HF be a quality top 20 area team in Class AA as they return along with Drew Coleman.

Elliott Myszkowski of Rochester Mayo/Take Off & Lace Up. I think Elliott has a chance to be a really strong player in the Big Nine, two year all league, top player candidate in two years type guy. His pace is outstanding. His decision making grades out with some of the best. He shot it at 43 percent from the arc this year but Elliott only takes the right shots while helping teammates get good shots. Elliott is the best kind of engine for a team and his teams are winning.
