The Shore Conference saw big movement over the weekend as reigning Player of the Year Jayden Hodge announced on social media that he was transferring to Montverde Academy in Florida. The Shore still is filled with talent that will make an impact on the hardwood this season, especially in the 2026 class. Here are the top 2026 Shore Conference prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205839' first='Luke' last='Cruz'], 6'9 PF Rumson Fair-Haven

Cruz is the top ranked prospect in the Shore Conference and is primed to have a monster senior season. The 6'9 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and can knock down jumpers from behind the arc. Cruz has a nice touch around the basket and is able to draw contact down low. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and swats a ton of shots around the basket. Cruz's ability to stretch the floor and protect the paint makes him a nightmare matchup for opposing front courts in the Shore Conference.

[player_tooltip player_id='1859568' first='Shaan' last='Nayar'], 6'1 PG Ranney

Nayar poured in 17 points per game last season and is looking to eclipse that mark in 2025-26. The 6'1 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can shoot either off the catch or bounce. Nayar is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the paint off the bounce and finishes well around the basket. He slides his feet on the defensive end and is an underrated passer. Nayar is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should torch the nets from distance throughout the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107954' first='Charlie' last='Marcoullier'], 6'0 CG CBA

Marcoullier will shoulder a bigger scoring load this season for the Colts, which will help his stock throughout the winter. The 6'0 lefty has a smooth shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and can knock down jumpers in bunches. Marcoullier moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He moves his feet on the defensive end and rarely forces jumpers in the half court. Marcoullier will have the opportunity to run the offense this summer, which will help his development throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1943567' first='Connor' last='Andree'], 6'5 PF CBA

Andree is an intriguing forward prospect to watch as he can impact the game in a variety of ways. The 6'5 forward plays with good footwork down low as he knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Andree can pass out of the post and has the ability to put the ball on the floor from the perimeter. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Andree is a tough forward prospect whose ability to make plays in the post will help his game throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2342601' first='Eddie' last='Lopez'], 6'4 SF Middletown North

Lopez has the ability to play either forward spot, making him one of the more interesting prospects in the class. The 6'4 forward explodes off the floor for dunks and can finish through contact. Lopez has a high release on his jumper and his range extends out to the three-point line. He elevates for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to impact the game on the defensive end. Lopez is an athletic forward prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the course of the season.

Other Prospects to Watch:

[player_tooltip player_id='2107955' first='George' last='Boley'], 6'2 CG Jackson Memorial

[player_tooltip player_id='1775138' first='Tyler' last='Cameron'], 6'0 CG St. Rose

[player_tooltip player_id='2342602' first='Jake' last='Sliwinski'], 6'1 SG Southern

[player_tooltip player_id='1412105' first='Jacob' last='Edgecomb'], CG Point Pleasant Beach
