He can get to the rim whenever he wants and will look to step out to the three-point line if given the space to hit the open shot. His shot is high and quick and will look to get into the midrange game to rise over smaller defenders. He rebounds well for his position and can throw long outlet passes on the fastbreak accurately.

Edgecomb is a patient player who likes to get his shots within the flow of an offense as he does not look to force any shot he does not like. You don’t need to run plays for Edgecomb because he is terrific off the ball when looking to get open for his shots and how he can affect the game in many other ways. His shot is high and quick and is automatic on the wings behind the three-point line. He rebounds well and can throw some impressive outlet passes on the fastbreak.

Edgecomb is a versatile player that not only can play all positions but also defend all of them well. His shooting ability is smooth as the lefty looks to square up catch-and-shoot shots whenever he can. He can hit tough fading away threes with his favorite areas being in the corners. On defense Edgecomb will pick you up full-court and follow you throughout an entire game. He gets lots of steals by helping with traps in the corners or using his excellent reactions to poke the ball free.

Edgecomb is a lefty that will look to take and make any shot he gets. His smooth high-arcing shot needs very little space to get off. He can create that space with his handles and his ability to create on his own. Edgecomb likes to dribble around screens for open threes or look to hit the diving screener. He can get into the lane and finish strong through contact with both hands. Edgecomb can even hit the catch-and-shoot three when coming off of off-ball screens.

Edgecomb likes to run the pick and pop a lot because of his excellent shooting ability. Teams are forced to press up on him which allows him to get by them with his quickness and kick out to wide-open shooters in the corner. He can make impressive long wrap-around passes when driving baseline. Edgecomb always keeps his eyes on the floor making sure his teammates keep moving the ball and not having it stick.
