As the NJSIAA Sectional Tournament approaches its final round, the semifinal round wrapped up late last week. And one of the more intriguing matchups in the North Non-Public A bracket was the semifinal round between Seton Hall Prep and Don Bosco Prep. With a unique crop of prospects headlining this matchup, let's dive into those who delivered strong performances throughout the course of last Thursday's action with a spot in the sectional final on the line.

An extremely skilled guard with dynamic perimeter scoring ability, [player_tooltip player_id='2504780' first='Infinite' last='Sincere-AmenRa'] delivered yet another impressive performance that displayed his remarkably strong and versatile shot making profile. Sincere-AmenRa turned in a phenomenal performance that underscored the dangerous intangibles he brings as an outside shooter, displaying much of his arsenal— knocking down movement shots from deep with accuracy off a variety of screens, hitting long range spot ups off the catch, creating separation for pull up jumpers off the dribble.

Operating with clear poise and control coupled with a tight and confident handle, [player_tooltip player_id='2201947' first='Anthony' last='Gonzalez'] anchored the offense as a true floor general, showcasing his instincts as a decisive playmaker, blending being a willing facilitator while remaining a true threat to score, consistently organizing the offense and reading the floor with confidence, all while maintaining his ability to score when opportunities presented themselves. Gonzalez generated efficient offense shining as an overall playmaker— using quick change of pace and blazing speed to thrive as a PnR operator and navigate ball screens getting to space in the mid range area off the bounce for mid range pull ups, knocking down outside shots when defenders went under ball screens, and attacking driving angles to get to the basket.

A skilled and versatile forward with rare fluidity and a unique skillset for his size, [player_tooltip player_id='2107943' first='JP' last='Skoric'] made a strong impact by consistently applying pressure at the rim, particularly with Bosco's offensive actions putting an emphasis on getting him going downhill both as a driver and a cutter. Skoric utilized his size and length to finish efficiently around the basket, showcasing soft touch on finger roll layups and crafty reverse finishes from different angles with impressive dexterity and finesse around the basket.

A tough, hard nosed table setting point guard who plays with a noticeable edge, [player_tooltip player_id='2342637' first='Brad' last='Brown'] stood out in the way he controlled the tempo and had a strong command of the offense for Don Bosco while also serving as a steady scoring threat, particularly out on the perimeter throughout the course of this matchup against Seton Hall Prep. Brown found his rhythm and found plenty of success knocking down a number of outside shots off the bounce and as a spot up shooter. Finding success from other areas on the floor as well, Brown also displayed what his mid range pull up game looks like while also mixing in some strong attacks of the basket for tough and physical drives.

A lethal three point shooter with a smooth and effortless release, [player_tooltip player_id='2305481' first='Jaylen' last='Lewis'] looked very much like his usual self operating as an effective shooter and floor spacing—consistently hunting perimeter opportunities and knocking down open looks from beyond the arc with confidence. The left handed sharpshooter showcased the fluid and compact shooting mechanics that allow him to confidently impact the game from long range, complete with impressive shooting range as well. Lewis ultimately demonstrated his ability to be effective both as a movement shooter and as a spot up threat, knocking down outside shots just as comfortably on the move as he does off the catch.

A highly athletic forward who routinely plays bigger than his measurements suggest, [player_tooltip player_id='2421358' first='Daniel' last='Beazer'] continued to prove his value as an interior presence, particularly in the rebounding department and even as a finisher around the basket. His combination of effort and energy to crash the glass and generate second chance opportunities paired with soft hands and reliable touch made him effective as a rebounder as well as operating from the short corner and dunker spot, where he also converted dump off passes and finished strong at the rim.

A highly consistent and dependable interior presence, [player_tooltip player_id='2716491' first='Alex' last='Ante'] continued to highlight his value to Seton Hall Prep's frontcourt with his effort, energy, physicality, and strength on both ends of the floor. Serving as a steady and physical force inside, Ante consistently brought toughness and reliability to the paint. His impact was most evident on the boards, where he established himself as a strong interior rebounder—crashing the glass, securing rebounds in traffic, and creating extra possessions through his work on the offensive boards.
