2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2309944' first='Josiah' last='Harrington'] | North Scott

Harrington has already committed to play his college ball at Iowa State. The 6-6/6-7 junior-to-be is a silky smooth three-level scorer who can get scorching hot from the arc, and as a sophomore, he really improved as a ball-handler and shot creator. With his combination of size, shooting, length, and improving athleticism and burst, it's no wonder the Cyclones were so eager to lock down an early commit from the top-ranked player in the state's 2027 class.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1777914' first='Jaydon' last='Kimbrough'] | Cedar Falls

A big-bodied, strong wing scorer who is among the best pure shooters in the state, Kimbrough makes scoring look effortless. He's nearly automatic from the mid-range, and is an electric shooter off the catch who can drop 15 points on you in a quarter in the blink of an eye. He can do a little bit of everything on the offensive end and has the strong frame to defend multiple spots as well.

2027 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2419754' first='Quantae' last='Alexander'] | Prairie

Alexander played a point-forward role for the Hawks as a sophomore, initiating offense and using his length to impact the game on the defensive end. He's a good athlete with a huge wingspan that he uses to contest shots, get into passing lanes, and compete hard on the glass on both ends of the floor. He's a skilled ball-handler and fantastic passer.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2204894' first='Tyler' last='Hilton'] | Linn-Mar

Hilton had a breakout week at the state tournament in March and is due for a pretty significant jump up the 2026 rankings when they're updated in a few weeks. He's long, athletic, strong, and versatile on both ends of the floor. Playing with a non-stop motor, he has the type of effort, frame, and athleticism that makes him a really intriguing prospect.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2120763' first='Jack' last='McGuire'] | Pella

A talented, athletic wing who is at his best when he's playing downhill and attacking, McGuire averaged nearly 15 points and 5 rebounds a game as a junior for the Dutch. He's good in the mid-range, can create plays off the dribble, and has the size to defend a few different spots.

2028 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2594655' first='Pete' last='Craig'] | Waukee

Craig started for a state-tournament team in Class 4A and has a really bright future on the hardwood. A 6-4/6-5 wing who can shoot it off both the dribble and the catch, he showed some flashes of playmaking off the dribble, and he showed some real upside as a defender as well.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='1978099' first='Colin' last='Rice'] | Waukee Northwest

Rice is in the running for the #1 spot in the 2026 rankings when the next update comes out. He has put together a fantastic spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2075630' first='Martin' last='Brothers'], leading to offers from Iowa, Nebraska, and Northwestern, and a slew of other Power 5 interest. He'll be one of the top targets in attendance from any state for a good chunk of the Division 1 coaches in Kansas City. He's a tenacious rebounder and defender, an elite three-level scorer, and he's also still oozing with unlocked potential. He's on the border of becoming a nationally ranked prospect.
