It's not often that 6-foot-7 guys with the ability to run the floor and block shots can go underneath the radar for long, so that's how Mattson makes his way on to the list. Watching him in a mid-season win over Dallas, we were impressed with his potential as a rim-runner and rim defender and his ceiling is high as he continues to develop strength to go along with his length and athleticism.

Quite frankly, it was a complete oversight to not have Garcia in the rankings at this point given he's been the top dog at Hillsboro since his sophomore season. A dominant rebounder - he finished second in the state in 5A in boards - the junior is also mobile enough to make a mark on the defensive end as he also finished second in 5A in steals. A three-sport athlete, it will be interesting to see which sport he fully pursues at the college level.

Another previously under-the-radar talent at Crescent Valley, Jensen made an impression on us with his 6-foot-5 size and ball skills on the wing. He shoots the ball well from distance - just under 46 percent from three - but can also put it on the floor and create getting to the hoop. Defensively, his length and instincts can create havoc as well. He's bound for even more of a rise in the ranks with a big spring and summer.

A transfer from Tigard, Freeman fit right into the Lake Oswego system under new coach Tully Wagner and helped lead the Lakers to the post-season after a one-year absence. A good all-around athlete who can really create and get into the lane, the junior averaged 10.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals while exhibiting a good motor on both ends of the floor.

A transfer from Benson, Surer immediately stepped into a lead role at Wells under new head coach Max Tresize. At 5-foot-10, he's got a slick handle and is quick off the dribble, but capable of getting hot from the outside with his perimeter jumper as well. Defensively, he has the ability to be a stick 'em on-the-ball defender and he plays the passing lanes well.
