The biggest riser in the rankings in this update is undoubtedly Lowenbach, who rose 20 spots to #32. It's much deserved for the 6-foot-7 big man who became a dominant force down low for the Cowboys in 2024-25, earning Tri-Valley Conference Player of the Year and 4A First Team All-State honors while helping lead Crook County to the 4A state tournament. Also a dominant rebounder and shot-blocker, as much of a force as he offensively is in the paint, Lowenbach can also step out and hit the three at the top of the key, and with his length and continued development his ceiling is extremely high.

Gresham operated a guard-heavy offense where roles were interchanged, and Gaither fit in perfectly with his ability to play both on and off the basketball. In fact, given his ability to shoot the perimeter jumper - he led all of 6A in three-point percentage at 48.3 percent - it could be argued he could have been even more aggressive on the offensive end. He appears to be easily a threat to march up the list into the Top 40 by the end of the summer.

Rising up over 10 spots to #85 is Kettering and his escalation should continue. He had a breakout junior year for the Storm, averaging 7.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on an extremely balanced squad, showing the ability to score at multiple levels and be a matchup problem for defenses with his combination of size and skills on the wing.

A tremendous athlete - he's also a wide receiver/defensive back on the Grants Pass football team - Connelly really came into his own as a fantastic player in transition on the basketball squad. He easily gets up and down the floor, finishes well at the hoop, and is continuing to hone is all-around ball skills and perimeter shooting.

To be completely honest, Stimpson would be ranked higher if his collegiate future were absolutely going to be basketball - he's a D-I talent on the gridiron. Still, he can really hoop it up as his combination of football strength and power combined with sharp ball skills makes him a tough cover on the court. Stimpson was an All-Metro League honoree and should be able to embrace a leading role at Jesuit in 2025-26.
