Twin Cities Takedown: Saturday's Fantastic Forwards

The Twin Cities Takedown saw plenty of talented prospects. Here are six impressive forwards/wings from Saturday's day of action at Maple Grove Middle School.    Boadi has a big frame and uses it to his advantage. He displays incredible strength and plays with the utmost physicality, making it challenging to contain him as a rebounder. He is an efficient scorer around the rim and excels as the roll-man in ball-screen action. I love the footwork and patience Boadi uses when he's under the rim. Keep an eye on Boadi as he continues to grow and hone his skillset.     McCreary is a very well-rounded prospect, impacting the game in numerous ways. He is a gifted scorer who finishes at a high rate inside the paint and also stretches the floor to knock down the long ball. One aspect of McCreary's game that stands out is his ability to handle the basketball at his size. The 6'6 point forward plays with great vision and loves getting his teammates involved. He is an active rebounder, and the ability to put the ball on the floor and initiate the fastbreak makes McCreary a dynamic threat.     Neitzel is an excellent shooter who heats up in a hurry. I like the confidence he displays as a scorer, using short-term memory to stay locked into the moment. He uses his long arms to shoot over the top of defenders and his well-timed off-ball movements to free himself up for open shots. Neitzel moves with good tempo on the floor and doesn't settle too easily, keeping the defense guessing. I love the rhythm and rotation he shoots it with, too. Neitzel has great mechanics in his shot, which provides the consistency needed to be a dominant three-point threat.     Dahlberg is the ultimate three-level scoring threat. He fills it up easily from distance and uses a soft touch to beat you on the interior. I like his float game and his ability to score with both hands. Dahlberg plays with a level of calmness that provides him with an advantage in high-pressure situations. The lanky wing not only scores it with ease, but also stays engaged defensively using his long arms to bug opposing offensive players. His head stays on a swivel, allowing him to read the defense and stay a step ahead. Dahlberg is a solid two-way threat.     Robran has his hand in a bit of everything for his Crossfire team. He is a very talented athlete and knows how to use that athleticism to help him in all areas of the floor, but specifically as a rebounder and defender. He can guard just about every position and is a very high-energy player. Robran oftentimes finds himself with easy buckets on the other end of the floor thanks to his court awareness. Due to his leaping capabilities, he is always active around the rim and finishes well through contact. Robran plays hard and shows off tons of versatility.     Miskowicz is a paint beast, controlling the interior on either side of the court. Defensively, he bothers anyone who dares to attack the paint and blocks plenty of shots. Offensively, he boasts a variety of back-to-the-basket moves through the use of great positioning. Miskowicz is a vacuum on the offensive glass, creating tons of second-chance looks for his Fury team. Miskowicz will beat you with either hand and plays with great physicality.
