[program_tooltip program_id='2228190' first='TEAM' last='Warwick'] had both of their 14U teams compete at the Omaha Showcase April 4-6. I was finally able to dive into the film on both of the teams. I wanted to actually watch some recent film on the prospects before giving them an evaluation.

The prospects mentioned are ones that I thought had the best prospect profiles to potentially be college players. There are seven players from top team and three from the second team evaluated.

Note that [player_tooltip player_id='2442367' first='Cohen' last='Soukup'] is left off because he was just in the SD elite 2029 prospects article.

I'm very very high on Rylan and [player_tooltip player_id='2519350' first='Kalen' last='Kvistero']. I'll group their evaluations together. Very high IQ players with skill to match. Both are absolutely lethal from three and cannot be left open, whatsoever. If I'm scouting [program_tooltip program_id='2228190' first='TEAM' last='Warwick'] 14U, the first thing said is put a body on [player_tooltip player_id='2442367' first='Cohen' last='Soukup'], then the next would be to not let the Kvistero's go unguarded at any point in time. Just a smooth and consistent picture-perfect jumper from range. It's not a quick-trigger release, but it's not slow either. Elite knockdown shooters that probably should be on the elite prospects article, because I think they can be D2 2-guards that stretch the floor at a high level. They are already 6'1”, so it would not surprise me if they reached 6'4” minimum. I also didn't want to go without mentioning that they are very good passers that make the “right” decision and sometimes the easy pass is the best pass.

When the rankings drop for the 2029 class, I'll most likely be higher on them than people realize, because I just think they translate so well.

See above

Erickson has the makings of a next-level point guard that can really do it all, with his deep bag and skillset. He's elite in his handle, playmaking passing, and is one of the top 3-point shooters I've seen in the 2029 class. He shot the three at a very high level off the catch in Omaha. Most likely a top 3 three-point shooter in the class, and his elite passing is also something that should never go unmentioned. He makes some passes that kids his age cannot make, and they're mostly right on the money for his teammates to score at the hoop. He can throw long passes over and through the defense. Charlie brings some intensity on D as well. He will hound the ball-handler and will come off his man to help the drive, looking for a tip or steal in the process.

Nolan's length at 6'4” is his greatest trait right now. He's a little raw and uneven in his movement, but he can still do some good things. Soft shooting touch around the hoop. Flies around defensively and stays alert on that end. He runs rim-to-rim very hard and quickly. Though he's thinner and lanky, he works hard for the ball in the air and does just fine with some contact. If he can get up to 6'9”-6'10” then we are getting excited about Nolan.

Camden is a defensive weapon and lockdown guy. He's got good size, long arms, and lateral agility. He can man-up his matchup, but he also creates a bunch of other problems for offenses when he comes off of his matchup. His sudden and quick-twitch defensive movements are quite rare for his age and size. Offensively, he does best attacking the rim with his athletic ability.

Hudson is a competitor. This is especially noticeable on the defensive side. He's a relentless and consistent on-ball defender and he doesn't let his matchup get anything easy. If his only job is to keep the ball and ball-handler in front of him, then he deserves a pay raise. Rare movement ability and ability to react from pass to pass. His ball and man awareness is quite impressive as well. Offensively, he will run the court wide and quickly, looking to get buckets as a slasher.

Gavin looks very young and has some longer-than-typical limbs. It seems like he's adjusting to growing and developing physically. A huge growth spurt into a lengthy 2-guard to go with his 3-point ability would be major. Gavin's quick release from three off the move was another thing I noticed. He could be one that sees his stock continuously go in the right direction.

Grayson is on the Warwick second team and I really like him. Jacobs is currently a versatile 4-man/Wing, and I think he translates to that as well, if he has normal to steady growth. Would like to see him be a 6'6”-6'7” 4-man/Wing. He's shown he can be physical and take and give contact, as well as hit set threes. Grayson plays hard and brings toughness to the Warwick second team. Runs the floor and will crash the boards. Does a little bit of everything and is probably the team's most important asset.

Fink is a skilled guard with some quickness and acceleration in his game. A nice handle on the ball, and he's a lefty shooter that plays with confidence and swag. He played the point and off-ball. I think he can translate to a point guard that is a shooting threat. He didn't shoot the three particularly lights-out in Omaha and it was my first time seeing him, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's a kid that can catch fire and get hot from three. He wasn't shy from continuing the shoot the ball, so he probably has some instilled confidence.

Pruett is a point guard prospect and is one of the main ball-handlers for Warwick's second 14U team. I'm a fan of his game and profile and I believe that he offers some solid upside as a prospect. Has a great handle on the ball and can really move and play fast with the ball in the open. He's looking to push the ball and get his feet in the paint to either kick to corner shooters or make a play for himself with a floater. He can get fancy with the ball in a crossover series, but he's getting in the lane often. A quick-twitch and sudden athlete with some long arms for his height. I say this continuously, but I'm hoping he can get up to a solid height because he could become a nice player and prospect. I think he's a college guy in some capacity down the road.

TEAM Warwick had both of their 14U teams compete at the Omaha Showcase April 4-6. I was finally able to dive into the film on both of the teams. I wanted to actually watch some recent film on the prospects before giving them an evaluation.
